Esta semana me uno a esta iniciativa de @talentos, donde se busca que mostremos como fortalecemos eso mismo, el talento que tenemos naturalmente o hemos desarrollado durante años, pero que aun así siempre es bueno aumentar su nivel. Yo enfocaré este post a mi trabajo de joyería artesanal (.M16uel joyas) y también un poco a la parte de arte digital, entre otras cosas.

Primero sentí necesario buscar lo que es Talento y se define como la capacidad intelectual o de aptitud que tiene una persona para aprender las cosas con facilidad o desarrollar con mucha habilidad una actividad. Fuente : Google, definiciones de Oxfordn lenguages.

Para fortalecer nuestro talento debemos ver en qué somos fuertes, que se nos facilita más, que habilidades tenemos naturalmente e incluso en qué somos mejores que otros o en que nos diferenciamos, quizás también toca un poco de ver alguna debilidad que nos perjudica alguna habilidad y trabajar en ella, pero cada quien busca su estrategia; yo comentare desde mi perspectiva y experiencia que hago para lograr mejorar mis talentos actualmente:

1) Desarrolle una Pieza para un Salón de artesanía:

Esta es una forma me pareció fabulosa para expandir el nivel un poco e ir más allá de lo que produzco regularmente y también de mostrarle al público de lo que soy capaz, desarrollando de alguna manera la parte creativa, simbólica y filosofal de una pieza, incluso me da la oportunidad de experimentar sobre alguna técnica, en este caso dibuje algunas líneas con el Dremel y una fresa.

El Salón de artesanía que estoy participando es el del de Caracas, Municipio Libertador, la obra un Medallón para conmemorar al Dr Jacinto Convit, quien descubrió la vacuna contra la Lepra, la temática de este evento es la identidad Caraqueña, pronto publicaré cómo hice la pieza y otros detalles...

2) Volviendo al origen y enfocándome en un nicho de mercado:

He recordado mis buenos tiempos y las piezas que me funcionaban, estás eran de temática mayoritariamente wiccanas, celta y toda aquella relacionada con la espiritualidad, trabajaba con plata, vendía por los marketplace como MercadoLibre; así que estoy retomando todo eso, aprovechando que mi nivel es muy superior al de aquella época y tengo algo de reconocimiento, también que creo que hay una tendencia de búsqueda de piezas con significado espiritual y personal, así que me mantendré en esa línea.

Esta filosofía la llevo implementado desde finales de enero y he tenido mis avances en las ventas y adquisición de clientes, aunque ahora en vez de MercadoLibre uso más Facebook Marketplace.

Dato curioso que no preguntaste: diciembre y enero fueron terribles para mí, pero fue como un renacimiento y momento de reflexión para retomar este camino que considero mi origen como .M16uel joyas .

3) Asumir retos de diseño en joyería:

Por ejemplo me pidieron, el engaste de piedras, que es algo que no tengo tan desarrollado y le huyo, pero me he enfocado y he sacado trabajos interesantes, también un poco fuera de la joyería hice unas dagas y un juego de runas, que significaron un reto, pero lo supere....

4) Participar en Concursos creativos de Collage en Hive:

Conocí una comunidad llamada Let's Make a Collage y tiene concursos semanales, los cuales se basan en desarrollar la creatividad a partir de una imagen base. Con esto me mantengo utilizando el Photoshop, mejorando y explorando mi estilo, gracias a esto tengo algunas ideas de como sacar una franela personalizada para mí y probar si gustan para comercializar, quizás a partir de esto tenga una nueva aventura de emprendimiento.

También hay otros concursos y comunidades creativas que voy a incorporarme, además me interesa volver a montar obras para NFT, pero todo a su tiempo, ya que estoy en varios proyectos simultáneos.

5) Conocer sobre inteligencia artificial:

Me encantan los avances tecnológicos y considero que no hay que tenerle miedo a las novedades, por ejemplo estoy viendo este fenómeno como una oportunidad para agilizar y mejorar ciertos procesos productivos, cómo por ejemplo conseguir un resumen de una información que necesite, reorganizar ideas, buscar inspiración, desarrollar textos de venta, formatos de documentos como contratos, fondos o imágenes que no se encuentran en los catálogos de fotos de libre uso, etc...

Todo de forma ética, porque también estoy consciente de que hay gente que lo utiliza para hacer trampa....

6) Dar concejos a otros:

Últimamente, me he dado cuenta de que soy fabuloso para dar consejos, la gente aprecia mi visión de la vida y las cosas, el conocimiento que de repente les doy les puede ayudar a solucionar alguno de sus problemas, dudas y deseos, cómo dije en el programa de talentos de este martes en el canal de Palnet de Discord, todos somos sabios, esa sabiduría está dentro de nosotros y no la dejamos salir por miedo o complejos, yo he decidido dejarla salir y que esa semilla actúe en otros... Yo mismo me sorprendo de las cosas que sé y de las soluciones que doy.... tu también deberías animarte.

To strengthen our talent we must see what we are strong at, what is easier for us, what abilities we naturally have and even in what we are better than others or in what we are different from, perhaps it is also a bit of a time to see some weakness that harms us some ability and work on it, but everyone looks for their strategy; I will comment from my perspective and experience what I do to improve my talents currently:

1) Develop a Piece for a Craft Hall:

I thought this is a fabulous way to expand the level a bit and go beyond what I regularly produce and also to show the public what I am capable of, somehow developing the creative, symbolic and philosophical part of a piece, even It gives me the opportunity to experiment with some technique, in this case I drew some lines with the Dremel and a milling cutter.

The Craft Hall that I am participating in is the one in Caracas, Libertador Municipality, the work is a Medallion to commemorate Dr Jacinto Convit, who discovered the vaccine against Leprosy, the theme of this event is the Caracas identity, soon I will publish how I made the piece and other details...

2) Going back to the origin and focusing on a niche market:

I have remembered my good times and the pieces that worked for me, these were mostly Wiccan, Celtic and everything related to spirituality, I worked with silver, sold through marketplaces like MercadoLibre; so I'm going back to all that, taking advantage of the fact that my level is much higher than that of that time and I have some recognition, also that I believe that there is a tendency to search for pieces with spiritual and personal meaning, so I will stay in that line.

I have been implementing this philosophy since the end of January and I have made progress in sales and customer acquisition, although now instead of MercadoLibre I use Facebook Marketplace more.

Curious fact that you did not ask: December and January were terrible for me, but it was like a rebirth and a moment of reflection to resume this path that I consider my origin as .M16uel joyas .

3) Take on jewelry design challenges:

For example, they asked me to set stones, which is something that I have not developed so much and I shy away from it, but I have focused and I have produced interesting work, also, outside of jewelry, I made some daggers and a set of runes, which meant It's a challenge, but I got over it...

4) Participate in Creative Collage Contests on Hive:

I met a community called Let's Make a Collage and they have weekly contests, which are based on developing creativity from a base image. With this I keep using Photoshop, improving and exploring my style, thanks to this I have some ideas on how to get a personalized flannel for me and try if they like to market, perhaps from this I will have a new entrepreneurial adventure.

There are also other contests and creative communities that I am going to join, and I am also interested in putting together works for NFT again, but all in good time, since I am in several simultaneous projects.

#5) Know about artificial intelligence:

I love technological advances and I believe that there is no need to be afraid of novelties, for example I am seeing this phenomenon as an opportunity to streamline and improve certain production processes, such as getting a summary of information that I need, reorganizing ideas, searching inspiration, developing sales texts, document formats such as contracts, backgrounds or images that cannot be found in free-use photo catalogues, etc...

All ethically, because I am also aware that there are people who use it to cheat...

6) Giving advice to others:

Lately, I have realized that I am fabulous at giving advice, people appreciate my vision of life and things, the knowledge that I suddenly give them can help them solve some of their problems, doubts and desires, as I said in the talent show this Tuesday on the Palnet channel of Discord, we are all wise, that wisdom is within us and we don't let it out out of fear or complexes, I have decided to let it out and let that seed act on others... I myself am surprised by the things I know and the solutions I give... you should be encouraged too.
