This post is an entry to the #ZapFicMonday "Judgment"!

The #ZapFicMonday is a literary initiative from the Freewriters Community in which writers have to create a story, using the prompt provided, with 240 characters or less.

Run Away

After hours of arguments, the Colonial Court reached a decision: Blackbeard was guilty of being a pirate and the judgment was death.
What they didn't expected is that the guards were bribed and let Blackbeard run away, still in handcuffs.

This is how bad our nations have turned into. There's corruption even in the most holiest places. The guilty are set free while the innocent are executed. Blackbeard must be a very wealthy and influential person, only that class are above the law😁. I think this story needs to be staged. I really enjoyed reading through 🥰
