After Crypto They Move on To Politics
Some policies made by many institution here in Indonesia are just beyond understandable. Some are good for the people, and some are just a total rubbish. And those institution are not just from the officials or the governmental institution, but some other institution sometimes issued policies which is not part of their specification or just way contradict with its function.
Just like how Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) or Indonesian Ulema Council banned crypto in Indonesia and then got such a huge rejection from the Indonesian crypto community. It seems they issue the banned without any proper research a bout crypto itself.
Now things got interesting because MUI which got its fund from the tax paid by the citizen form a cyber army to tackle buzzer attacking the Ulema and the current Governor of Jakarta. What shocking is that they have been banned the use of buzzer before during the election period, but now they are forming their own cyber army to defense their people and the Governor who is a political positions.
The forming of this cyber army is also raising concern, does it because the local MUI has a close connection with the Governor or it is just a way to tackle the mass highlight and condemn from the Netizen because one of the staff in MUI office being arrested for allegedly involving in terrorism.
Are their focus now shift from banning crypto into helping the political ally? it seems they have forgotten that they are establish to give a good way and guidance in the religious matter.
