Saludos queridos amigos de #hive, ya se aproximan la fecha más colorida y divertida del año ¡Los Carnavales! Y desde ya todo el ambiente se torna festivo como diría yo, un ambiente de azúcar, flores y muchos colores jajaja eso me anima de una forma inigualable, porque podemos estar teniendo un mal día pero al momento de que nos topamos en la calle con niños disfrazados y comparsas alegóricas nuestro día cambia para mejor, eso llena a cualquiera de alegría y nos hace recordar aquellos momentos de nuestra infancia donde nos divertíamos mucho con los carnavales.

Esta semana tuve la oportunidad de vivir una linda experiencia con mi sobrina, quien se encuentra participando como una de las candidatas de reina del carnaval 2023 en su urbanización. Una profesora quien es directora del comité de cultura con ayuda de los padres han estado preparando un lindo evento para el disfrute de las más pequeñas de la casa fomentando así el rescate de valores y tradiciones típicas en nuestro país, lo cual apoyo mucho me parece un plan fantástico además las niñas se sienten como unas auténticas princesas.

Como mi hermana @ciresophen se encontraba ocupada con otras diligencias esta semana ella me pidió el favor para que yo acompañara a mi sobrina Sophie a realizar unas actividades que el grupo de aspirantes tenían que cumplir como parte previa a la noche del evento. Yo acepté y fui hasta la casa de mi hermana para poder acompañar a la niña en lo que necesitara, mi primer trabajo era maquillarla así que me puse manos a la obra, ella se vistió, ya estaba peinada y yo tan solo tenía la tarea de maquillarla y acompañarla, eso hice. En principio le realicé un maquillaje sutil en tonos rosados lo cual fue un pequeño reto para mí porque no estoy acostumbrada a maquillar a niñas, y en ese caso los maquillajes deben ser lo más sutil posible. Al maquillaje solo le sume un poco de rubor y una tinta de labios discreta, el resultado me gustó.

Greetings dear friends of #hive, the most colorful and fun date of the year is approaching, Carnival! And from now on the whole atmosphere becomes festive as I would say, an atmosphere of sugar, flowers and many colors hahaha that encourages me in a unique way, because we can be having a bad day but when we run into the street with children in costumes and allegorical comparsas our day changes for the better, that fills anyone with joy and makes us remember those moments of our childhood where we had a lot of fun with the carnivals.

This week I had the opportunity to live a nice experience with my niece, who is participating as one of the candidates for the 2023 carnival queen in her urbanization. A teacher who is director of the culture committee with the help of parents have been preparing a nice event for the enjoyment of the smallest of the house thus promoting the rescue of values and typical traditions in our country, which I support very much seems a fantastic plan plus the girls feel like real princesses.

As my sister @ciresophen was busy with other errands this week she asked me to accompany my niece Sophie to do some activities that the group of aspirants had to do before the night of the event. I accepted and went to my sister's house to be able to accompany the girl in what she needed, my first job was to make her up so I got down to work, she was dressed, her hair was already combed and I only had the task of making her up and accompanying her, that's what I did. At first I did a subtle makeup in pink tones which was a little challenge for me because I am not used to make up little girls, and in that case the makeup should be as subtle as possible. I only added a little blush and a discreet lip tint to the make-up and I liked the result.

Una vez que ya ella estaba vestida y maquillada preparamos un bolso con agua, comida, algunas golosinas y también me lleve mi maquillaje para el retoque ya que sería una jornada larga, rápidamente nos fuimos porque ya estábamos sobre la hora y la primera parada era el Consejo Municipal del Municipio Santiago Mariño, el cual queda justo en la plaza de Turmero (estado Aragua) y al llegar nos recibieron la presidenta del consejo y la legisladora general del municipio, ellas le dieron una bienvenida a las niñas muy cálida y además se tomaron el tiempo para oír la presentación de cada una de ellas donde expresaban cuál era su nombre, edad, hobbie y la zona que representaban.

Habían unas niñas que se sentían un poco nerviosas pero otras estaban muy enérgicas pero sin duda todas hicieron una magnifica presentación los padres aplaudían felices porque estaban orgullosos de ellas, tomamos algunas fotos en el Consejo Municipal y luego nos fuimos a la próxima parada la cual era una estación de radio que es muy popular en la ciudad, pero, justo cuando estábamos cerca una señora encantada con nuestras candidatas nos pidió que entráramos a su negocio para que ellas se tomaran una foto allí. Justo ese día estaban realizando la inauguración del local, es una venta de comestibles donde ofrecen muchos servicios desde helados y waffles hasta conos de papas fritas y batidos chocolatosos. El espacio estaba muy lindo, es colorido y transmite una vibra genial, tiene incluso un columpio para fotografiarse en él eso me pareció original, muy pronto estaré visitando a este local y les hablaré de él más a fondo.

Once she was already dressed and made up we prepared a bag with water, food, some candy and I also took my makeup for the touch up because it would be a long day, we quickly left because we were already over the hour and the first stop was the Municipal Council of the Municipality Santiago Mariño, which is right in the square of Turmero (Aragua state) and upon arrival we were greeted by the president of the council and the general legislator of the municipality, they welcomed the girls very warmly and also took the time to hear the presentation of each of them where they expressed what their name, age, hobbies and the area they represented.

There were some girls that were a little nervous but others were very energetic but without a doubt they all did a great presentation, the parents applauded happily because they were proud of them, we took some pictures at the Municipal Council and then we went to the next stop which was a radio station that is very popular in the city, but, just when we were near a lady delighted with our candidates asked us to go into her business so they could take a picture there. Just that day they were doing the inauguration of the store, it is a grocery store where they offer many services from ice cream and waffles to potato chip cones and chocolate milkshakes. The space was very nice, it is colorful and transmits a great vibe, it even has a swing to take pictures on it that I found original, very soon I will be visiting this place and I will tell you more about it.

Seguidamente entramos a radio Aplauso, una de las radios más populares en la ciudad como ya dije y recibieron a todas las candidatas, contamos con la presencia del fundador y voz principal de la radio y en su oficina se tomó el tiempo para conocer una a una a todas las aspirantes, para posteriormente dirigirlas a la cabina de grabación donde participarían en una pequeña cuña radial lastimosamente no pude tomar fotos de cuando estaban grabando porque no se me permitió entrar la cabina. Sin embargo pude oír todo desde fuera y debo decir que el trabajo realizado fue excelente.

Todos salimos contentos de la radio y aunque estábamos un poco cansados nos faltaba dirigirnos a la última parada, la cual se trataba de una sesión fotográfica en el famoso “Corazón de Mariño” el cual es una pequeña plaza que edificaron cerca de la encrucijada Turmero-Cagua con un gigante detalle en forma de corazón, el cual es el foco de atención en el lugar. En este espacio han realizado muchas sesiones fotográficas e incluso bodas lo que me gusta es que diariamente le dan mantenimiento, riegan los arbustos y todo se mantiene limpio, espero sea así siempre.

Al momento de llegar decidimos comer algo ya que estábamos un poco cansadas, después fue momento de retocar el maquillaje y solamente necesitamos un poco más de tinta de labios y rubor ¡Todo estuvo listo! Esperamos que llegaran los fotógrafos y después empezaron a tomarles fotografías a todas las niñas, estas fotos eran con el fin de postearlas con el número de candidata para así designar la banda de Miss Internet a la niña que haya tenido más likes.

Then we went to radio Aplauso, one of the most popular radio stations in the city as I said and received all the candidates, we had the presence of the founder and main voice of the radio and in his office he took the time to meet one by one all the candidates, and then direct them to the recording booth where they would participate in a small radio spot, unfortunately I could not take pictures when they were recording because I was not allowed to enter the booth. However, I could hear everything from the outside and I must say that the work done was excellent.

We all left the radio station happy and although we were a little tired we had to go to the last stop, which was a photo shoot in the famous "Corazón de Mariño" which is a small square that was built near the Turmero-Cagua crossroads with a giant heart-shaped detail, which is the focus of attention in the place. In this space they have done many photo shoots and even weddings, what I like is that they maintain it daily, they water the bushes and everything is kept clean, I hope it will always be like this.

When we arrived we decided to eat something since we were a little tired, then it was time to touch up the makeup and we only needed a little more lipstick and blush, everything was ready! We waited for the photographers to arrive and then they started taking pictures of all the girls, these pictures were to post them with the candidate number in order to designate the Miss Internet sash to the girl who had the most likes.

No quise acercarme cuando las estaban fotografiando para que así los fotógrafos pudieran hacer su trabajo sin ningún tipo de interferencia, así que me quede alejada solo observando y también aproveché de descansar de tanto trajín. Primero las fotografiaron en grupo y después una a una, fue un poco tardado pero se veía que lo disfrutaban así que yo estaba bien con eso, fue una experiencia muy linda además ver a mi sobrina feliz con sus amiguitas me llenó el alma.

El sol empezaba a ocultarse y la brisa hizo acto de presencia fueron muy refrescantes los últimos minutos que estuvimos ahí, tuve la oportunidad de conversar con otras mamás que estaban presentas allí y todas me contaron como sería el evento y las cosas que sentían que aún faltaban, pude notar mucha organización de su parte y también emoción. También pude ver que habían niñas que estaban entusiasmadas y otras que solo querían estar en su casa y no participar y eso me hizo sentir un poco mal porque no está bien obligar a los niños a cosas que no quieren, sin embargo, son actividades recreativas beneficiosas para los más pequeños, espero que al final de cuentas si logren verle el lado positivo y lo disfruten de verdad.

I didn't want to get close when they were being photographed so that the photographers could do their work without any interference, so I stayed away just watching and also took the opportunity to rest from all the hustle and bustle. First they photographed them as a group and then one by one, it took a while but I could tell they were enjoying it so I was fine with it, it was a very nice experience and seeing my niece happy with her friends filled my soul.

The sun was starting to set and the breeze made its presence felt very refreshing the last minutes we were there, I had the opportunity to talk with other moms who were there and they all told me how the event was going to be and the things they felt were still missing, I could notice a lot of organization on their part and also excitement. I could also see that there were girls who were excited and others who just wanted to be at home and not participate and that made me feel a little bad because it is not right to force children to do things they do not want, however, they are beneficial recreational activities for the little ones, I hope that at the end of the day if they manage to see the positive side and really enjoy it.

Mi sobrina es la candidata #10 y mañana tiene lugar la noche de participación final, no tengo idea de cuál será el resultado pero estaré allí para apoyarla y verla disfrutar esta experiencia que sé que es algo que le gusta y entretiene en cantidades industriales. Muy pronto tendremos nueva reina y mini reina de carnaval, les contaré como se llevó a cabo el concurso y cuál fue el resultado de éste. ¡Gracias por leer! Nos vemos próximamente os quiero mucho.

My niece is candidate #10 and tomorrow is the final night of participation, I have no idea what the outcome will be but I will be there to support her and watch her enjoy this experience that I know is something she likes and entertains in industrial quantities.
