Starting my day with a healthy breakfast salad made from fresh vegetables

Hello I'm posting this to share to everyone to be mindful of one's eating and to show to you how good food relationship changes oneself after experiencing sickness.

It's a beautiful day today to start with a healthy meal and transformed one's own plate into some different perspective..

I began to change my diet a month ago because I know it's possible to heal oneself by just doing mindful eating.Just recently I feel lazy and sluggish,a symptoms when one has a hyperthyroidism.Yes,I'm diagnosed with it aside from the asthma.I'm new to this kind of disease,I'm shocked that out 2/10 people who will be diagnosed by these,I'm included and I'm feeling unpleasant about this new disease.

Recently this routine for me started when I feel something unusual in my body.Thanks God,it's summer vacation,no class and no work because One fine day,after climbing a stairs,I felt that my breathing were struggling,I felt heavy in my chest and I'm so tired that I can't even explained. So because of that incident it made me realized something have to be changed,including my diet.

I prepare vegetables salad as my breakfast today instead of starting my morning with coffee and bread..
Frankly speaking, I really missed having coffee and bread early in the morning, but because my doctor advised me to just stop for it for a while and so I listened to him.

Because palpitations on my heart and tremors on my hands will worsen if not being stopped,and these were also the symptoms I've felt before changing my diet..With the different symptoms I felt,it's always a turning point for me to learn something how to prepare a healthier meals.

I just spend a short time and it's a very quick to prepare this vegetable salad.I'm glad that I bought lettuce, cucumber and carrots at a very affordable price.

I'm grateful stalls in the market were full of vegetables sold at a reasonable price. Though, hesitation sometimes pulled me out to start becoming a vegetarian,but still I made it today to be consistent eating in a healthier way.

I chopped it together,blended them and a pinch of Himalayan salt,a squeeze of lemon and a little splash of olive oil made my vegetable salad more lively and colorful.

It's always a beautiful ritual,and surely a health renewed with this bowl of colorful vegetables.

A healthy salad dressing made it more special and meaningful to have a first crunch bite of my homemade vegetable salad.A thousand Island dressing or a Caesars salad dressing,both I've enjoyed each type of dressing.For me,this wasn't just a breakfast but a reminder every morning that health is so precious and I deserved this kind of freshness and care.

I feel this deeply sis. Sometimes life forces us to slow down when our body starts showing signs that something is wrong. I believe that we need to take care of ourselves because health is something we can’t ignore of take for granted. Hindi madali mag change ng habits lalo na sa food na sanay na tayo, I admire you for choosing healthier meals and being more mindful sa pagkain.
At the end of the day, self care is not selfish. Dapat unahin natin ang health para magawa natin ang mga gusto natin sa life sis.
@dreamrona yes sis.. definitely it's very hard to choose to being healthy..but I'd rather eat these rather than having a wrong choice of food...huhu I really regret in the past eating so much processed foods .
