May Hive PUD Guessing Contest
This is the tenth post since my April PUD post. This month, I haven't been lazy honestly, it's just that I moved houses last month and was busy packing and unpacking and settling down and haven't had much time to write any posts. It's crazy to think that last year I came back to UK with one large and two small suitcases for the two of us, and when we moved last month, we couldn't fit all our possessions in one car load. In the end, we had to do another 240km round trip to pick up the rest of our stuff!
To be fair, a lot of the stuff weren't ours, or rather not what we would normally carry around during travels. There were quite a few boxes of foodstuff, then there were plants and household stuff like bedding and a vacuum cleaner - all borrowed from my family, yes including the plant!!! Personal possessions were far and few between.
Talking of plants, I took this interesting shadow of my aloe vera. If I didn't tell you, it could probably pass off as a pineapple 🍍 😁
My new neighbour here is erhh... very interesting. A few days after we moved in, he invited us to his wedding... or so we thought. I am joking you not, this is a brilliant story to tell, and totally warrants its own post which I shall share next week. I guarantee you guys are going to love to read about it!!
In the meanwhile, let's go back to PUD. My HP increased by a shade over 900 HP this month, from 58059 to 58971. Most of it was from my author rewards as I'm pretty crap at curation. I curate because I like the posts, and have some people on auto upvote. Other than that, I don't play the curation game, it's just too much effort to try to game the system and is no fun for me.
I powered up a modest 50 HP this month, same as last month, and again in the spirit of supporting PUD.
Edit : Some of you may know I like round numbers, couldn't resist, but powered up a little bit more to take me to 59000💪. Let hope I meet the big Six in June.
MAY PUD GUESSING CONTEST
Since we're on the theme of shadows above, I thought I'd do a shadow guessing contest for this month's PUD Guessing Contest. My new place faces west and has plenty of light from three sides of the living room. I get some interesting shadows throughout the day, including this one I captured yesterday.
Can you guess what this object is?
And to give you some clue, here's the object itself.
The prize pool is 5 HBD and the person who guesses the correct answer will win this. If there are multiple winners, they will share the 5 HBD. And, if you took part in the PUD I will double your prize if you win!!! The contest will end in 7 days time, just drop your answer below as a comment and I will upvote it with my mini Orca account as usual 🐋

Sure. My guess is that is some sort of an air return cover, maybe for your new furnace. Or maybe it's a template for making lots of crypto tokens on top of the cake you are decorating for someone's birthday! ✳️😂

ENGAGEtokens.when i was a kid we had a game like tic tac toe but instead of 3you had to get 5 in a row in any direction. one player had white discs and the other red. we took turns dropping a disc in the slots of the vertical board either trying to get 5 in a row or blocking the opponent. my guess is that this is such a game board
I played that as well when I was a kid!! Connect something I think it was called. Your mystery shadow is so difficult!! I need to give it some deep thoughts first, will head over in a minute.

ENGAGEtokens.and i did power up today but not so much. rather than having a fixed day of the month i power up my hive as soon as i accumulate a little. i watch the HBD to HIVE conversion values closely and try to time the exchange to get max return on my hbd. today hbd is down so i only exchanged a little and pu'd that
tbh any power up and whenever is good, it's support that whole idea of power up and Hive in the long run that counts.

Based on the photos, I'd guess that it's a table of some sort.

There's several places opened again. They just have weird quarantine measures in place or proof of negative test. They each have different regulations. The other day a total of 7 EU countries reopened including Greece and Croatia. France I think said they 21st?? Some Central American countries are open, Costa Rica is wide open.
England, though! Dang. Still can't venture outside your post code. Until you guys reopen, we're just gonna wait this out. I check in regularly. Northern Ireland just reopened but it comes with 93 rules. That's not a typo, 9-3.

ENGAGEtokens.Oh, @livinguktaiwan, your post was very informative for me - I have never heard about PUD before. May I ask you for help with the link to the rules of PUD? Have I missed that special day or can I do that today? My guess of the shadow will follow, now I am too enthusiastic about PUD to think about anything else :)

not quite normal actually, as this is still temporary. My relatives have moved into the place I was staying so I had to move out. This is my own place rented out to tenants in the past 5 years and I've just finished refurbishing it and put it on the market. So I figured I'd live here till it's sold, and then I'll be moving again!! But that would be a nice problem to have as there aren't many viewings 😔

On the other hand, I think the shadow is that of a chair with holes in the seat. In the second photo there seems to be more than one ... or I think so 😂.

Although I don't like to cook I enjoy eating more, I'm sure the shadow is the part where you grab the mold.
It is wide enough to use both hands, so you can put it in the oven.
