¡Hola usuarios! Las manualidades siempre han estado presentes en mi vida. Al ver todo lo que hacen los usuarios en esta comunidad me siento muy orgullosa y con ganas de incursionar en este mundo. He podido hacer adornos hermosos, recuerdo una pieza muy especial todavía la conservo en mi hogar. Cuando va pasando el tiempo dejamos a un lado bonitas técnicas que nos ayudaron a inspirarnos y llenar nuestra vida de un sin fin de momentos mágicos. Trataré de pasar más seguido por esta hermosa comunidad. Esto es solo mi presentación.

Mi primer trabajo estando pequeña fue con un español, este señor tenía una empresa se dedicaba en hacer adornos de yeso. Luego trabajé con unos colombianos, en esta empresa se fabricaban piezas de cerámica en su mayoría eran moldes de animales: elefantes, tucanes, cisnes, patos, gatos y perros. También pude trabajar con porcelana, de verdad que era un mundo maravilloso.

Cuando estaba en el colegio, las maestras nos enseñaban a pintar, tejer, coser, a realizar distintas manualidades, siempre me ha llamado la atención.

My first job when I was a little girl was with a Spaniard, this man had a company dedicated to make plaster ornaments. Then I worked with some Colombians, in this company they made ceramic pieces, most of them were molds of animals: elephants, toucans, swans, ducks, cats and dogs. I was also able to work with porcelain, it really was a wonderful world

When I was in school, the teachers taught us how to paint, knit, sew and make different handicrafts, it has always caught my attention

Algunas personas desarrollan más el hemisferio derecho del cerebro y otras desarrollan más el hemisferio izquierdo, por supuesto que los dos hemisferios van a funcionar, pero uno llevará la batuta por decirlo así. El hemisferio derecho se encarga: de las emociones, ritmo, imaginación, intuición, música, creatividad, observador. Recuerdo que una profesora una vez nos dijo: “Si no quieren que se les muera el cerebro o sufran de Alzheimer, no caigan en la monotonía, ni vivan a través de los hábitos, no hagan siempre las mismas rutas, cambien siempre sus rutas”, y nos explicaba que cuando nos levantemos en la mañana de la mañana no hagamos siempre la misma rutina, sino que hoy nos levantamos y vamos directo a bañarnos, otros días nos cepillamos primero, y así sucesivamente. Eso he tratado de aplicarlo siempre, hasta para manejar.

Por eso siempre me ha gustado ser muy activa, desde pequeña recuerdo que ayudaba mucho a mi abuela en los quehaceres, ella no tenía que estar detrás de mí para que hiciera mis tareas o para que ayudara en la casa con los oficios, yo solita hacía mis cosas, de hecho, me gustaba ayudarla, todo lo que hacía ella, yo siempre estaba atenta para aprender, cuando ella cocinaba, cuando cosía, lavaba, etc. La mejor manera de aprender es observar y ejecutar, sino se ejecuta lo que se aprende, pues, se olvida y no hay aprendizaje verdadero.

Desde joven Trabajé con arcilla, con cerámica, con barbotina, trabajé con yeso, trabajé con la compañía Porcelana Victoria, este trabajo me encantó, todo lo que se producía en esa empresa era un producto hermoso, excelente calidad.

Siempre he dicho que el cerebro es para usarlo y no para tenerlo de adorno, muchas veces a las personas flojas o que pareciera que no quieren razonar, se les dice una frase popular: “Tienes dos cucarachas en el cerebro con el juego trancado”, o pareciera que tienen telarañas, muchos no toman en serio esto, pero si al cerebro no se le da trabajo, se envejece y las neuronas mueren, nada como descubrir en uno mismo las destrezas que tenemos. Hoy en día el ocio se apodera de la sociedad, sobre todo de los niños y jóvenes, trabajemos duro y enseñemos a nuestros niños y jóvenes a conocerse así mismo, a descubrir sus destrezas y ponerlas a trabajar.

Since I was young I worked with clay, with ceramics, with slip, I worked with plaster, I worked with the company Porcelana Victoria, I loved this work, everything that was produced in that company was a beautiful product, excellent quality

I have always said that the brain is to use it and not to have it as an ornament, many times people who are lazy or who do not seem to want to reason, are told a popular phrase: "You have two cockroaches in the brain with the game locked", or it seems that they have cobwebs, many do not take this seriously, but if the brain is not given work, it gets old and the neurons die, nothing like discovering in oneself the skills we have. Nowadays leisure takes over society, especially children and young people, let's work hard and teach our children and young people to know themselves, to discover their skills and put them to work

Recuerdo de que cuando estaba más joven, tuve la oportunidad de visitar la cárcel en una obra social, y ellos nos comentaban que los ponían a trabajar con arcilla y eso los ayudaba a distraerse. Ellos contaban que para ellos eso era como un desahogo, no buscaban drogarse, los pensamientos de suicidio se les desaparecían gracias a ese tipo de trabajos manuales.

Todavía conservo esas ganas de hacer manualidades, reparar cosas en la casa, siempre dispuesta a aprender cosas buenas y a no dejar que las cosas aprendidas se me olviden, gracias a Dios mis hijos son lo que son porque desde pequeños les ayudé a se descubrieran a ellos mismos. Mis hijas desde pequeños estuvieron en el ambiente musical, mi hijo también caminó mucho por ahí, es muy hábil, eso hace que en las personas también se desarrollen buenos sentimientos, guiemos siempre a nuestros hijos, y recordemos que nunca estamos viejos para aprender algo nuevo.

I still have that desire to do crafts, repair things around the house, always ready to learn good things and not let the things I learned to forget, thank God my children are what they are because from an early age I helped them to discover themselves. My daughters were in the musical environment since they were little, my son also walked a lot there, he is very skilled, that makes people develop good feelings, let's always guide our children, and remember that we are never too old to learn something new
