Note to Self: Keep Eyes Open for a Legit Play-to-Earn Crypto Chess Platform

I have been very slowly getting back into chess. I played here and there when I was younger, never got into it too deep, never was a great chess player or anything like that, but I enjoyed it, and I have a lot of respect for the game.

With so much utilization of tech and digital, I recently find myself leaning into and solidifying my use of analog, hard copy, and the physical, and stone chess pieces moving across a wooden board come to mind for that.
Similar note for Polaroids.
Similar note for books and DVDs.

Age old chess... So many people have played this game.

In a sense, you are tapping into the mind space of years and years of human frequency.

Does that sound official and scientific?
I didn't think so, but you get my point.

They say chess emerged in the 1400's, but it supposedly originated from Chaturanga ( Wikipedia at your own risk ), an old Indian game.

"Archeological remains from 2000-3000 B.C have been found from the city of Lothal (of the Indus Valley Civilisation) of pieces on a board that resemble chess... Myron Samsin argues that chaturanga originated in the kingdom of Bactria, ca. 255–55 B.C." (Wikipedia).

There are many opinions of the origin. Consensus? It's freakin' ancient, classic, old.

All this has me thinking...
To go along with playing in the physical form...

Is there a legit, crypto, play-to-earn chess platform?

I looked, not for too too long, but I did not yet find much.

I would love to regularly play a game here and there for the sake of meditation even, and why not earn some crypto in the meantime, if that is an option.

I probably don't need to prioritize this, but I will keep my eyes open.

Over the next year I can see myself buying a new physical board either way. If it is simply an investment in myself and life, then that can be embraced as well.

Call it meditation or grounding or brain development or just fun. Maybe call it bonding with our ancient ancestors. I dig that. We shall see.
