EVERGLOW 3rd mini album "Return of The Girl" Review [ESP|ENG]

Últimamente he agarrado el gusto por dar mi opinión y compartir sobre las canciones que más me gustan y las que pienso sobre las nuevas que sacan los artistas que sigo. Así que hoy he venido para hablar sobre este empoderado y reciente álbum lanzado.

Once again hello music community!
Lately I have taken a liking to giving my opinion and sharing about the songs that I like the most and the ones that I think about the new ones released by the artists I follow. So today I have come to talk about this empowered and recently released album.

Hablo de el mini-album "Return of The Girl" de Everglow, un grupo femenino surcoreano que debutaron el marzo del 2018. Desde el momento de su debut he estado escuchandolas, pero únicamente las canciones que más pegaban. Por eso me he decidido por escuchar finalmente uno de sus álbumes completos y que mejor que este que está recién salido del horno y que además, trata sobre el empoderamiento de las mujeres.

I'm talking about the mini-album "Return of The Girl" by Everglow, a South Korean girl group that debuted in March 2018. From the moment of their debut I have been listening to them, but only the songs that hit the most. That is why I have decided to finally listen to one of their complete albums and what better than this one that is fresh out of the oven and that also deals with the empowerment of women.

BACK TOGETHER
Esta canción es una balada lenta, calmada y con la que puedo disfrutar. Me gusta lo fuerte que se vuelve de repente, se siente más emocional y hermoso. Al parecer habla sobre un amor que se extraña, con el que se desea estar juntos. Se siente linda pero a la vez esperanzadora y es lo que me gusta del ritmo. Fácilmente puedo decir que es mi favorita del álbum. Sus voces tan tranquilas y melódicas me encantan.

BACK TOGETHER
This song is a slow, calm ballad that I can enjoy. I like how strong it suddenly becomes, it feels more emotional and beautiful. Apparently he talks about a love that is strange, with which he wants to be together. It feels nice but at the same time hopeful and it's what I like about the rhythm. I can easily say that it is my favorite on the album. I love their calm and melodic voices.

PIRATE
Esta es la canción principial, posee un vídeo pero no hablaré de el a pesar de que lo disfruté. Cómo el título de la canción trata de que ellas son piratas. Me gusta que el concepto sea del emporedamiento de mujeres, en la letra resalta como pueden hacer lo que deseen, disfrutar, ser las que mandan y viajar como "un pirata". El ritmo me recuerda mucho a viejas canciones, aunque tiene algunas mezclas de alguna forma quedan bien juntas. No soy muy fan del coro pero sé que pronto se me terminará pegando Cause i'm a pirate.

PIRATE
This is the title song, it has a video but I won't talk about it even though I enjoyed it. How the song title is about them being pirates. I like that the concept is the empowerment of women, in the lyrics it highlights how they can do what they want, enjoy themselves, be the ones in charge and travel like "a pirate". The rhythm reminds me a lot of old songs, although it has some mixes in some way they fit well together. I'm not a big fan of the choir but I know that soon it will end up hitting me Cause i'm a pirate.

DON'T SPEAK
Esta canción también me recuerda a canciones viejas, parece retro y es divertido, me gusta aunque no sea mi favorita. Habla sobre cómo desea a un chico y quiere tenerlo para ella, me gusta que lo exprese sin miedo y que sabe que puede estar con el, recordándonos el concepto del álbum.

DON'T SPEAK
This song also reminds me of old songs, it seems retro and it's fun, I like it even if it's not my favorite. She talks about how she wants a boy and wants to have him for her, I like that he expresses it without fear and that he knows that he can be with hers, reminding us of the concept of the album.

NIGHTY NIGHT
Es simplemente agradable y divertido, la canción me anima, así es es un total sí para esta canción. Aunque la letra no trata sobre algo muy interesante, simplemente de seguir, correr y buscar un camino, y tiendo a encariñarme más con las canciones con letra sentimental, esta me atrapó.

NIGHTY NIGHT
It's just nice and fun, the song cheers me up, that's right it's a total yes to this song. Although the lyrics are not about something very interesting, just going on, running and finding a way, and I tend to become more fond of songs with sentimental lyrics, this one caught me.

COMPANY
Es tan fuerte y poderoso que me encanta. Su letra expresa lo mismo, lo mucho que vale como para darle su compañía a alguien que no le agrada. Se siente como si fuera el rey del mundo, es inevitable no sentirte empoderada con esta canción. La guardaré en mi playlist relacionado, agradezco que Everglow nos haya regalado esta canción en específico. Si hay algún día bajo ánimo, Company puede hacerte subir hasta el autoestima, probablemente.

COMPANY
It is so strong and powerful that I love it. His handwriting expresses the same thing, how much he is worth to give his company to someone who does not like him. It feels like the king of the world, it is inevitable not to feel empowered with this song. I will save it in my related playlist, I appreciate that Everglow has given us this specific song. If there is a day in low spirits, Company can raise your self-esteem, probably.

¡Eso ha sido todo! puedo decir que me gustó mucho y ahora lo añadiré a mis playlists, pero aún así me han gustado más canciones anteriores de ellas que puedo escuchar sin cansarme. ¡Pero eso no quita que sea muy bueno! Así que anímense a escucharlas y a agarrar energías con todo lo que este mini-album expresa y tiene de concepto, o con otras de sus canciones, por qué no.

That was it! I can say that I really liked it and now I will add it to my playlists, but still I have liked more previous songs of them that I can listen to without getting tired. But that does not mean that it is very good! So go ahead and listen to them and get energized with everything that this mini-album expresses and has as a concept, or with other of their songs, why not.
