My Actifit Report Card: April 25 2022
I played the Dry Creek eighteen hole disc golf course today and scored a plus six. This was a couple of points worse than last time. I was feeling like I was going to score better and was one over through the first nine holes but the wind picked up a bit and I had a run of barely missed throws.
The second part of the course is a lot harder to get around and you need to know where you can cross over the ditch. Naturally I tried to find some short cuts around the course.
Who knows what this could possibly be?

Some people are a little slow on learning about Colorado mud. 🙄😁🤪 Usually the area near a stream is a bit firmer back home but things are much different here. I tested the surface a bit with my foot and it felt firm enough. When I started to cross the ditch I broke through the crust and sank into the stinky black mud in the same way that I sank into it the last time I played the course.
I getting pretty good at cleaning the stuff off my shoes. It helps a bit to let the stuff dry first and then scrap most of it off with a stick and then blast the shoes with a garden hose. (This is partly why I buy water proof shoes for disc golf.)

Not much rain came down and I had a really fun time.

One of the tricks of the game is to take shortcuts to get yourself back in the game. Waterproof shoes are very useful when walking in such places. But our mud here is completely different. Once you step on it, you have to sink a lot under the ground.
what you do is really fun even though sometimes how many rounds you have won.When I read you use the shortcut for disc How sad you were once stuck in the mud.There you are stuck in the mud whether you wash the shoes and they get wet.How do you dry the shoes using the hot sun? Do you get rained on when it rains
The view of the clouds is very beautiful. although it looks a little raining, and you played golf with better results today

That's very funny, roughly how deep the shoe goes in there.

That is pretty weird about the soft black mud? under the slightly firm surface.
It means Water proof shoes are good for disc golf and fortunately you have water proof shoes.
