So my friends this week I visited a friend at a local Marina (Clem's - there is no Clem, a woman owns it, and she liked the name 😅).
I had been invited for awhile as all the employees I worked with about 8 years ago, how time flies!

So this is my friend "Willy", he's a little camera shy...😉

This is the fish cleaning table, I guess it's for drinks too! 🤭

Outside a friend pulled up in a new "Nautic Star" fishing boat,

This is a much larger Shrimp Boat, parked on the other side,

This is the entry to the fishing pier, with a Pelican,

Here is two shots of him turning his head,

He noticed I was taking his photo and he turned his head! 😅

This is some of the Piers, at this place they run all around the back like a Maze,

Here is what the salt water does to metal barriers around pilings,

And this is a barge passing by in the Intercoastal Waterway,

And the Tug Boat pushing them along,

Oh! These are beautiful sceneries of the reflective water surface against the rusted metals and the watchful bird lazily staring.💕

About 6 -8 years ago I worked down there, at a different marina - but same place. Nice to go to work and hang out in the water all day!

It's a nice place to hang around at when you got the time.

There are "LOTS" of Pelicans here, 4 different kinds I know of.
I can tell you, they waddle when they walk, swim so,so... But these guys can "Fly"! They normally fly in small groups and look like fighter jets!
They also have very intelligent eyes!

I haven't been to a marina in years, and never one with pelicans! My grandparents (dad's side) used to own a boat in New Haven, Connecticut, when I was a child, and we used to go out in it often to go fishing. Cool photos, @lesmann! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Thank You!y Father and Uncle had a boat in NJ that they ran around the Atlantic Highlands and Sandy Hook area on, when I was young, but like you said, No Pelicans!
And they are a large bird, believe me!
