Sin más, comenzamos

Primero que nada estoy super feliz y es un verdadero placer participar en el Concurso Viste a Barbie, patrocinado y difundido por @needleworkmonday en el que debíamos realizarle un atuendo o accesorios a Barbie o a Ken.

Es muy especial para mi participar ya que esta muñeca fue la única que conserve de la colección que tenia mi hija, que hoy en dia tiene 18 años, recuerdo que muchas veces la ayude a realizarle accesorios y ropa para sus muñecas.
Cuando decidio que ya no quería jugar con ellas las donamos a otras niñas, a excepción de esta, de todas las que tenia me quede con una.

Without further ado, we begin

First of all I am super happy and it is a real pleasure to participate in the Barbie Dress Up Contest, sponsored and spread by @needleworkmonday in which we had to make an outfit or accessories for Barbie or Ken.

It is very special for me to participate because this doll was the only one I kept from my daughter's collection, who is now 18 years old, I remember that many times I helped her to make accessories and clothes for her dolls.
When she decided that she no longer wanted to play with them we donated them to other girls, except for this one, of all the dolls I had I kept one.

Comencé buscando la muñeca, los materiales y las telas con las que voy a realizar el vestido

Este diseño es original, simplemente puse a volar mi imaginación y combiné colores

I started looking for the doll, the materials and the fabrics with which I am going to make the dress.

This design is original, I simply put my imagination to fly and I combined colors.

Para la blusa utilice una tela estampada acanalada, corté a medida y cosí unas pinzas para dar mejor agarre a la cintura

For the blouse I used a printed ribbed fabric, cut to size and sewed some darts to give a better grip at the waist.

Le realicé un doblez a la parte del busto

I made a fold in the bust area.

Para la sobre falda o fondo, utilicé un tul blanco rigido, esto dara volumen a nuestra falda

For the overskirt or bottom, I used a stiff white tulle, this will give volume to our skirt.

Para la falda, utilicé tul azul, el cual para realizar el arruchado, cosí con la máquina en línea recta y fui estirando el hilo

For the skirt, I used blue tulle, which to make the ruffling, I sewed with the machine in a straight line and stretched the thread.

Llegó la hora de unir todas nuestras piezas

It is time to put all our pieces together

Ajusté detalles cosiendo unas puntadas a mano

I adjusted details by sewing a few stitches by hand.

Coloque un cierre mágico o velcro en la parte de atrás

Attach a magic clasp or Velcro fastener on the back side

Fue realmente placentero realizar este vestido de fiesta para la bella Barbie, me llevo a recordar tiempo atrás y me divertí muchísimo, además que hacia mucho que no realizaba un vestido para ella.
Lo mejor de todo es que voy a aprovechar de regalar este vestido a la hija de mi amiga, seguramente le encantara.

It was a real pleasure to make this party dress for the beautiful Barbie, it took me back in time and I had a lot of fun, besides it had been a long time since I made a dress for her.
The best of all is that I am going to give this dress as a gift to my friend's daughter, she will surely love it.
