🤘💖🎶 Festival Nuevas Bandas 2023 y otro mes con mi increíble @melitzamusic [ESP-ENG]

¡Hola! Espero que estén teniendo un día increíble. Hoy les traigo mi experiencia en el Festival Nuevas Bandas 2023 y cumpliendo otro mes junto a mi increíble @melitzamusic.

Para mí y mi equipo, asistir al Festival Nuevas Bandas es una tradición anual. Fuimos juntos el año pasado y este año no fue la excepción. Además, para @melitzamusic y para mí, esta vez fue aún más especial, ya que habíamos venido juntos el año pasado y esta vez celebrábamos otro mes juntos. También, hace tres años, @manuelmusic ganó el Festival de Música Urbana, organizado por la misma fundación que organiza el Festival Nuevas Bandas. Seguimos trabajando en su música y su carrera, y no perdemos la oportunidad de descubrir a los nuevos talentos cada año y establecer relaciones públicas. Mantenernos al tanto de la escena musical en nuestra ciudad es muy importante para nosotros.

Los primeros en llegar fuimos @melitzamusic y yo. Aunque no pudimos llegar más temprano y nos perdimos a varias bandas interesantes, llegamos justo a tiempo para ver a Nomásté, una de las bandas que Meli no quería perderse. No hubo decepción. La banda, conformada solo por mujeres muy talentosas, ofreció un buen espectáculo y supo cómo mantener al público activo. Incluso lanzaron algunas pelotas de playa al público para hacer su show más entretenido, como podrán ver en la cuarta imagen.

El festival estaba compuesto por varias tarimas. Después del show de Nomásté, dimos una vuelta por el festival mientras esperábamos al resto de nuestro equipo. Vimos a Onechot (imagen 5) en otra tarima dedicada al reggae y al dancehall. A pesar de que el festival se llama Nuevas Bandas, tuvimos la oportunidad de ver a artistas con mucha trayectoria como él, brindando un gran espectáculo para el público que asistió al evento.

Mientras recorríamos el festival, me encontré con muchos amigos a quienes no veía desde hace años. Este festival sigue siendo un punto de encuentro para muchas amistades que llevan tiempo sin verse.

Luego, nos encontramos con otros compañeros de nuestro equipo, Maiki, su hermano y Jaime. Llegaron justo a tiempo para no perdernos a Cunaguaro (Imágenes 6 y 7), la banda que desde que los escuchamos, se convirtieron en nuestros favoritos para ganar el festival, y así fue. Esta banda, que vino desde San Cristóbal, se ganó al público de Caracas. Solo con su música, lograron activar al público. Se formaron pogos/ollas/mosh pits sin que la banda los solicitara. Observamos cómo la gente saltaba y disfrutaba del espectáculo como ningún otro. El guitarrista con sus "Screams" nos dejó impresionados. Una banda sumamente talentosa que ofreció un gran espectáculo. Para nosotros, fueron nuestros favoritos de todo el festival.

Después del show de Cunaguaro, decidimos ir por unas cervezas. Jaime, uno de nuestros compañeros, nos tomó una foto muy divertida a @melitzamusic y a mí, donde otra persona también posó para la foto, jaja (imagen 8, la imagen de la izquierda). Sin embargo, durante eso, comenzó a llover demasiado fuerte, así que tuvimos que refugiarnos en el centro comercial que estaba junto al festival. Después de la lluvia, pudimos volver a la fila de las cervezas. Por cierto, las filas eran largas y lentas, pero lo logramos. Compartimos unas cervezas en equipo, justo en ese momento llegó @manuelmusic, y con él, compartimos los siguientes shows con el equipo completo.

Nos perdimos una de las bandas porque, además, el sonido había estado bastante mal durante un tiempo. Así que decidimos descansar los oídos, ir al baño y demás. Al regresar del descanso, vimos a Fakboi, quienes terminaron empatando con Cunaguaro y también ganaron el Festival Nuevas Bandas. Nos llamaron la atención los visuales de Fakboi; su puesta en escena estaba bien pensada y había energía. Sin embargo, no estaban entre nuestros favoritos. Sentimos que faltaba contenido en sus letras y que eran escritas por alguien demasiado joven. Creo que quizás con el tiempo, la propuesta podría pulirse aún más y convertirse en una buena banda.

El sonido no mejoró, y temíamos por la siguiente artista, Claudia Rojas, quien es amiga de @manuelmusic. Aunque ella y su banda dieron todo en el escenario, no pudimos disfrutar mucho de su show debido a que su voz apenas se escuchaba. El bajo cubría todos los elementos de la banda, lo que dificultaba apreciar la propuesta. Así que decidimos descansar y charlar con otros amigos que encontramos en el festival, lejos del escenario principal.

Después del show de Claudia, se anunciaron los resultados del festival. Para nuestra alegría, Cunaguaro (nuestra banda favorita) ganó el festival, empatando con Fakboi, como les mencioné hace un momento.

Tras anunciar los resultados, era hora de cerrar el festival. Como es habitual, la banda ganadora de la edición anterior es la encargada de cerrar. Capitán Mostacho ganó en 2022 y tuvieron la responsabilidad de poner fin al festival, como pueden ver en la última imagen. También ofrecieron un gran espectáculo e hicieron que el público participara en el mosh pit más grande de la noche.

Después del festival, seguía el After Party, pero este año decidimos regresar a casa a descansar. Hemos tenido unas semanas agitadas y queríamos llegar temprano y relajarnos.

En resumen, esta fue mi experiencia en el Festival Nuevas Bandas de este año, junto a mi equipo y mi compañera perfecta, @melitzamusic. Espero que les gusten las fotos que pude tomar con mi teléfono. Pasé varias horas editando todas las fotos para que se vieran lo mejor posible y lo más cercanas a la realidad que vivimos. 🤘🎶💖 2023 Nuevas Bandas Festival and another month with my amazing @melitzamusic 🤘🎶💖

Hello! I hope you're having an incredible day. Today, I bring you my experience at the 2023 Nuevas Bandas Festival and celebrating another month with my amazing @melitzamusic.

For me and my team, attending the Nuevas Bandas Festival is an annual tradition. We went together last year, and this year was no exception. Additionally, for @melitzamusic and me, this time was even more special as we had come together last year and this time we were celebrating one more month together. Moreover, three years ago, @manuelmusic won the Urban Music Festival organized by the same foundation that hosts the Nuevas Bandas Festival. We continue to work on his music and career, and we don't miss the opportunity to discover the new talents each year and establish public relations. Staying up-to-date with the music scene in our city is very important to us.

The first to arrive were @melitzamusic and I. Although we couldn't get there earlier and missed several interesting bands, we arrived just in time to see Nomásté, one of the bands Meli didn't want to miss. There was no disappointment. The band, comprised solely of very talented women, put on a great show and knew how to keep the audience engaged. They even threw some beach balls into the crowd to make their show more entertaining, as you can see in the fourth image.

The festival consisted of several stages. After Nomásté's show, we took a stroll through the festival while waiting for the rest of our team. We saw Onechot (image 5) on another stage dedicated to reggae and dancehall. Despite the festival being called Nuevas Bandas (New Bands), we had the chance to see artists with a lot of experience like him, putting on a great show for the audience that attended the event.

As we wandered through the festival, I ran into many friends I hadn't seen in years. This festival remains a meeting point for many friendships that haven't seen each other in a while.

Later, we met up with other members of our team, Maiki, his brother, and Jaime. They arrived just in time to not miss Cunaguaro (Images 6 and 7), the band that, since we first heard them, became our favorites to win the festival, and they did. This band, hailing from San Cristóbal, won over the Caracas audience. Solely through their music, the band managed to engage the crowd. Pogos/mosh pits/circle pits formed without the band even having to ask. We saw people jumping and enjoying the show like no other, and the guitarist's "Screams" left us impressed. A highly talented band that put on a great show, they were our favorites of the entire festival.

After Cunaguaro's performance, we decided to get some beers. Jaime, one of our teammates, took a very amusing photo of @melitzamusic and me, where someone else also posed for the photo, haha (image 8, the left image). However, during that, it started raining very heavily, so we had to take shelter in the shopping mall next to the festival. After the rain, we were able to get back in line for the beers. By the way, the lines were long and slow, but we managed. We shared some beers as a team, and just then, @manuelmusic arrived, and with him, we shared the following shows with the complete team.

We missed one of the bands because, on top of that, the sound had been pretty bad for a while. So, we decided to rest our ears, go to the bathroom, and so on. Upon returning from the break, we saw Fakboi, who ended up tying with Cunaguaro and also winning the Nuevas Bandas Festival. The visuals of Fakboi caught our attention; their stage setup was well thought out, and there was energy. However, they weren't among our favorites. We felt that their lyrics lacked substance and were written by someone too young. I believe that perhaps with time, the concept could be refined even more and become a good band.

The sound didn't improve, and we were apprehensive about the next artist, Claudia Rojas, who is a friend of @manuelmusic. Although she and her band gave it their all on stage, we couldn't enjoy her show much as her voice was barely audible. The bass covered all elements of the band, making it difficult to appreciate the performance. So, we decided to rest and chat with other friends we encountered at the festival, away from the main stage.

After Claudia's performance, the festival results were announced. To our joy, Cunaguaro (our favorite band) won the festival, tying with Fakboi, as I mentioned a moment ago.

After announcing the results, it was time to close the festival. As usual, the winning band from the previous edition is responsible for closing. Capitán Mostacho won in 2022 and were in charge of wrapping up the festival, as you can see in the last image. They also put on a great show and got the crowd involved in the largest mosh pit of the night.

After the festival, the After Party followed, but this year we decided to head home and rest. We've had a busy few weeks and wanted to get home early and relaxed.

In summary, this was my experience at this year's Nuevas Bandas Festival, with my team and my perfect partner, @melitzamusic. I hope you like the photos I was able to take with my phone. I spent several hours editing all the photos to make them look as good as possible and as true to life as we experienced it.
