My Phone For 9 Years

Hello, how are you? I have something precious to share with you, and I wanted to create a tribute blog about it, so that whenever I return to Hive, I can revisit these memories.

My phone is still working these days because the battery is removable, so I can buy a replacement anytime. It is funny to think that my family changes their phone many time I am still stuck with this phone for about 8 years now.

But sometimes it is time to change, and an upgrade is needed to happen, and I have this mindset that if an important app is not going to support my phone's OS, that is my sign to upgrade my phone. One reason that I don't want to upgrade is the quality of the camera, still clear as ever. Not a surprise because the phone name literally means "selfie," which focuses more on photos or videos.

I think I now believe "at the right time, at the right place," because I don't like pressuring myself into buying something, and I will regret it later. LOL

Let Me Show You What Years of Using a Phone Look Like

So the very first phone that I saved up for 3 months of hunger, no concert, no hanging out with friends, and just pure existing in my college year. Asus was a big thing before, and I, with my keypad phone, needed to be upgraded, and when I needed something, I did my research first, and I saw this

YouTube and Messenger are two of the most important apps for me, and Messenger is where I use to communicate with my family, friends, and most of the people literally. My OS is Marshmallow, so it makes sense LOL.

The camera is super good and the front cam too, that is why it is called Zenfone selfie for a reason LOL. Front cam makes you poreless like legit.

Love to use it for social media, that is lite LOL, and I'm kind of addicted to this game, which is still good, just a little bit lag.

I mainly use it as my screen for my reference when I am drawing, which is so helpful.

I rarely use it now since I got my new phone, but when I remember, I sometimes use it so that it will not get stuck and completely broken. So, how many years before you change your phone?

Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
Please take care of your mental health as well.
I hope you are okay today :))

I am the kind of person that will stretch out the life of his electronics for as long as possible because I don't like to waste money. 8 years is a lot longer than I have ever had a phone though. Good work for making that last! When you get a new phone eventually you will probably think it is super fast!

Oh my, I remember those android with removable battery. I still have my samsung duo actually, sad coz di ko na sha napagawa after madrop ko sya huhu, gumagana pa sana yun kaso patay sindi nalang sya kapag nakakabit ang battery huhu. Anyways, grabi tagal na nitong sayo. If sana may update pa rin sa system ng mga ganitong phone, for sure, lots of people will still use this.

Even laptops before had removable batteries. Ahh I wish they still make those kind of gadgets. My Samsung phone has a removable one and I bet it still works if I charge it. It is just somewhere in a baul, haha.
