Llaveros para Regalar, Parte 2 [ESP/ING]

Saludos amigos de @jewelry, espero hayan tenido un fin de semana lindo y productivo.

La bisutería es el arte de crear adornos de carácter personal con diversos materiales, pueden ser joyas y llaveros. Me resulta bastante relajante diseñar y crear estos adornos, en una publicación anterior les mostré dos llaveros que hice para mi mamá y mi hermanita.

Hoy deseo compartir con ustedes la elaboración de dos llaveros o colgantes, estos son para mi tía y mi prima. Los colores elegidos son Rojo y Amarillo.

Pensando en el diseño de estos llaveros, decidí crear uno para cada una de las mujeres de mi familia, pero con colores diferentes. Algunas tocaron con su color favorito y otras no. Pero sé que igual les van a gustar.

Los materiales a usar son los siguientes:

Hilo chino
Mostacillas
Pasadores
Trancador
Pucas
Swarovski

El primer llavero que realicé fue el rojo. Comencé haciendo un nudo en un extremo del hilo rojo, y el otro extremo lo quemé con un yesquero de manera de que no se deshilache al pasar las mostacillas. Este paso es importante ya que permite afinar la punta del hilo chino y hace mucho mas fácil pasar las mostacillas, algunas tienen el agujero mucho estrecho, si no se quema la punta del hilo tenderá a deshilacharse y se arruinará todo el hilo.

Lo combiné con blanco, le puse la inicial del nombre de mi prima, se llama Alexa. Aunque no sé cuál es su color favorito, me parece que el rojo le queda muy bien. Este es un llavero o colgante que puede colocarlo al forro de su teléfono, le quedará muy bonito y llamativo.

Al igual que los llaveros anteriores, le coloqué una mariposa, es como mi firma.

Para comenzar el siguiente lado del llavero hice un nudo dejando suficiente hilo para que pueda colocarlo en el forro de su teléfono. Así empecé a colocar pasadores, mostacillas y Swarosvkis. Hice un diseño organizado, de manera que se vea bastante prolijo y armonioso. Al final terminé con un nudo.

Para el segundo llavero elegí el color amarillo. Igual le coloqué la inicial del nombre de mi tia: Maigualida.

En el caso de este llavero si le puse un trancador, porque la porción de hilo no era lo suficientemente larga y me di cuenta que al final me daría problemas para anudar los extremos.

Al igual que el llavero que hice para mi mamá, le coloqué un dado. Me pareció lindo que ambos llaveros se parecieran, pues al fin y al cabo son hermanas.

El procedimiento es básicamente el mismo. Lo interesante de hacer estos llaveros es ver como se van organizando los materiales de manera que se vea armonioso y bonito. Esto quiere decir que en varias oportunidades lo deshice y empecé otra vez, ya que de cierta manera veía que no quedaba como yo quería.

Este es el resultado final. Me gusta como quedaron. Y espero que a ellas también les gusten.

Costume jewelry is the art of creating ornaments of personal character with various materials, it can be jewelry and keychains. I find it quite relaxing to design and create these ornaments, in a previous post I showed you two key chains I made for my mom and my little sister.

Today I want to share with you the elaboration of two key chains or pendants, these are for my aunt and my cousin. The colors chosen are Red and Yellow.

Thinking about the design of these keychains, I decided to create one for each of the women in my family, but with different colors. Some played with their favorite color and others did not. But I know they will still like them.

The materials to use are the following:

Chinese thread
Beads
Pins
Hairpinner
Pucas
Swarovski

The first keychain I made was the red one. I started by tying a knot at one end of the red thread, and the other end I burned with a tinder so that it would not fray as the beads passed through. This step is important because it allows to sharpen the tip of the Chinese thread and makes it much easier to pass the beads, some have a very narrow hole, if not burned the tip of the thread will tend to fray and ruin the whole thread.

I combined it with white, I put the initial of my cousin's name, her name is Alexa. Although I don't know what her favorite color is, I think red looks great on her. This is a keychain or pendant that you can attach to the lining of your phone, it will look very pretty and eye-catching.

Like the previous keychains, I put a butterfly on it, it's like my signature.

To start the next side of the keychain I tied a knot leaving enough thread so you can attach it to the lining of your phone. So I started attaching pins, beads and Swarosvkis. I made an organized design, so that it looks quite neat and harmonious. In the end I ended up with a knot.

For the second keychain I chose yellow. I also placed the initial of my aunt's name: Maigualida.

In the case of this keychain I did put a stripper, because the portion of thread was not long enough and I realized that in the end it would give me problems to knot the ends.

Like the keychain I made for my mom, I put a die on it. I thought it was cute that the two keychains look alike, since they are sisters after all.

The procedure is basically the same. The interesting thing about making these key chains is to see how the materials are arranged so that it looks harmonious and pretty. This means that on several occasions I undid it and started again, since in a certain way I saw that it did not look the way I wanted it to.

This is the final result. I like the way they turned out. And I hope they like them too.
