Garage sale with my mother-in-law

Hello, friends of Hive! I hope you’re having a lovely day and that God blesses you always. Some people say that when we get married, we’re not just marrying our partner but also their family. I’m so grateful to God because my in-laws are wonderful. My mother-in-law, in particular, treats me like another daughter; she’s so loving and devoted.

On this occasion, I’d like to tell you about the car boot sale we hold on Fridays and Saturdays in the ground floor of the building. It’s a way of earning some extra income, and it’s also great for socialising with the neighbours and enjoying a change of pace.

Thank goodness we have quite a few customers, as we’re based on the high street; because of this, quite a lot of people pass through this area during the day. We mainly sell clothes, shoes, hats and other accessories, and we also stock toiletries and household items. One thing that really helps our sales is that we accept payments both in cash and by bank transfer. This is very appealing to potential customers, as bank transfers are rarely accepted anywhere else.

I really enjoy working together at our little car boot sale, as it keeps us in good spirits and we keep each other company. Whilst we wait for customers to pass by, we can chat amongst ourselves, laugh at the antics of the children playing around us, or say hello to our neighbours, who happily pop by our ‘shop’.
