Wiang Wai Market, a small new market in an ethnic community, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. There are many markets in my district. One of them is a new opened market. This market opened about 1-2 months ago. It is a small market located in Mon Pin subdistrict. Mon Pin Subdistrict is a rural subdistrict with the diverse population of local Thai and various ethnic groups. And this market is a community market of the Tai Yai people. Another ethnic group living in northern Thailand. This market is called Wiang Wai Market. My wife and I had the opportunity to visit Mon Pin subdistrict and we passed through Wiang Wai market too. We got information about the Wiang Wai market from Facebook (our district group). So we wanted to stop by this market. The Wiang Wai market is about 21 kilometers from my home. But it's about 10 kilometers from the main road (Highway 107).

This new market is located near the community temple. This temple is called Wat Wiang Wai. This temple is built in the Tai Yai architectural style of the Tai Yai people in this village. My wife and I have been to Wat Wiang Wai, and I've shared photos of the temple's atmosphere with everyone in a previous post. But this market wasn't open that time.

Wiang Wai Market is a small market that sells ingredients, vegetables, fruits and food. We walked around and bought a little vegetables and fruits here. Take a look the atmosphere in Wiang Wai market.
