We are now transitioning from the hot season to the rainy season and severe wind gusts caused damage in our district 2-3 days ago.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. My family and I are now transitioning from the hot season to the rainy season. And we are entering the rainy season soon. It's been raining every day this week, with the heaviest showers in the evening and night. But apart from the heavy rain 2-3 days ago, we also had severe wind gusts in our area too. And severe wind gusts caused damage in our district 2-3 days ago. Severe wind gusts caused damage in our village as well. My house was lucky and only took minor damage from this strong gusts. My garden, two papaya trees fell down due to the severe wind gusts 2-3 days ago. And some trees are leaning due to that wind too.

And these are papayas from this papaya tree. They are not yet ripe. But we can save these papayas to cook with on other days.

Besides the trees that have fallen and leaned due to the wind that time, The wind was so strong, it almost took my roof with the roofs of balcony area of the house off. It's lucky that we built a solid roof. But the roofs of some other houses in were blown off.

But today, it was raining heavily this morning, but it was not severe windy. And it's been raining on and off all day. Even though it's raining, but still quite hot and stuffy.
