Story of me and my family part 36 : taking an autistic son on a long journey to the hospital.

Hello everyone. Today from morning to evening, me and my wife took our son to the doctor in mae rim district. We took our son to the doctor before scheduling the doctor's appointment. Because our son's behavior has become more violent than before. The son hurt himself by beating himself on the head and banging his head against the wall. So we need our son to see a doctor as soon as possible. In order for the sons to reduce rampant behaviors and to reduce the boys' self-harming behaviors.

Before we journey from home to the hospital. We had to put a boxing headguard on our son to prevent his hitting himself and hitting his head against the car window. In addition, we protect our son by wearing sandbags weighing 1 kg on each arm so that he can't easily raise his hand to hit himself on the head too.

Today my wife is driving to the hospital. Me and my son sat in the middle. In the back seat we place luggage for journey. Because my son was rampant in the car, so I had to sit with my son to control his behavior and let my wife drive instead.

The distance from the house (fang district) to the hospital (mae rim district) is about 130 kilometers. It took us about 3 hours for the journey from home to the hospital. Because the road is winding and some sections of the road have to go up hills.

This post, I only share photos of the scenery while journey from home to the hospital. And I only took a few photos because I wasn't convenient taking pictures, I had to look after my son closely. And I can't take photos in this hospital, because the hospital forbids everyone to do not take photos inside the hospital. It violates the rights of other patients. For this reason, So I didn't take photos inside the hospital.
