Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. My wife and I continue to happy our simple life today. Although our granddaughter is already in school, But our autistic son hasn't go to school yet today. Therefore, we couldn't go anywhere, and I didn't spray liquid fertilizer on the longan trees in the longan orchard. And we continue to provide close care for our autistic son at home, just as we always have. Although we live happily and eat simple food from chemical free vegetables and fruits in our home garden. But we are worried about our autistic son, My autistic son hasn't had a bowel movement in 5 days, even though we eat fruits and vegetables every day. Normally, we give him a safe laxative. But the laxative gave my son diarrhea and caused him to have watery stools multiple times. This time so we want him to poop naturally. My wife wanted to cook a dish that would help relieve constipation. And spicy papaya salad (som tum) can help relieve constipation. This dish is rich in dietary fiber which aids digestion. And the bird's eye chilli and lime help stimulate the bowels too. We have almost all the ingredients for papaya salad from our home garden, we only need tomatoes, which just ran out.

When our autistic son fell asleep due to the effects of medication. My wife and I therefore picked the vegetables and papaya together for this papaya salad. I picked a raw papaya for making papaya salad and two ripe papayas for eating fresh (Two papaya trees).

Then we picked several lemons from a lemon tree near a papaya tree. But this time we only used one lemon for the papaya salad.

Then we gathered the long beans, green brinjal and bird's eye chilies for papaya salad this time.

And picked the pandan leaves for cooking sticky rice.

This is a papaya salad made by my wife. She made three batches and divided them into 3 bowls for us.

In the afternoon, my wife added some flavor to the fresh cow's milk we had just bought from a mobile grocery store. She added vanilla flavor, honey and sugar to fresh cow's milk. And add pandan leaves too. Fresh milk for an afternoon snack and breakfast tomorrow too. We'll eat it with bread.

For dinner my wife wants to make something high in fiber to help with bowel movements too. So she cooked a clear soup with papaya, carrots, minced pork and meatballs. We focused on papaya and carrots. Because they are high in dietary fiber, which helps promote smooth digestion and regular bowel movements. And this is the clear soup for our dinner.

Besides being great for our son, these foods are also perfect for me and my wife as we are approaching 50. These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post.
