Food for family, cooked by my wife with the chemical free vegetables I plant in the home garden part 108 : Thai food, shrimp paste fried rice with sweet pork (khao kluk kapi).

Hello everyone. How are you today? Even though today is Songkran Day in Thailand. But my family and I didn't go out. And did not play water with other people on Songkran Day. The reason is the same every time because of my son (autistic). Today my son's symptoms and behavior are worse than every day. The boy hurt himself more. Therefore, I have to take care of my son more closely as well. And I don't walk around the home garden like every day. But my wife still does housework and cooks. So this post I want to share the food my wife cooks again.
There are many thai foods that we want to eat. Ane of the thai foods we want to eat is shrimp paste fried rice with sweet pork. Thai people call this dish : khao kluk kapi. My wife made shrimp paste fried rice with sweet pork (khao kluk kapi) once, a long time ago. And never cooked shrimp paste fried rice with sweet pork (khao kluk kapi) again. Because cooking this dish takes longer than other dishes. And this time she cooked this dish for the second time.

The vegetables that are the ingredients for this dish, my wife harvested from the home garden. But this time she had someone help harvest the vegetables. That is our granddaughter. My granddaughter has never eaten shrimp paste fried rice with sweet pork (khao kluk kapi). The little girl was so excited and happy to eat it. So my granddaughter enjoyed helping to harvest vegetables this time. What vegetables did my wife harvest from the home garden for this dish? Take a look.

Ingredient shrimp paste fried rice with sweet pork (khao kluk kapi).

  1. rice
  2. shrimp paste
  3. pork
  4. oil
  5. shallots
  6. oyster sauce
  7. soy sauce
  8. seasoning sauce
  9. palm sugar
  10. acacia pennata
  11. bird's eye chilli
  12. mango
  13. egg
  14. sugar
  15. pork flavour seasoning powder

Start cooking the sweet pork first, Chop shallots and pork.

Then put a pan on the stove and heat the oil. And put chopped shallots to the pan. Then stir-fry until the shallots are fragrant.

Then add the pork in the pan and stir fry a lightly.

Season the pork with oyster sauce, soy sauce, seasoning sauce and palm sugar. Then stir-fry until the pork is cooked and mixed with all the seasonings in the pan (about 10 minutes).



Done, sweet pork.

Then make shrimp paste fried rice. First put a pan on the stove and heat the oil. Add the shrimp paste to the pan and stir-fry a lightly until fragrant.

Then add the rice to the pan and stir until the shrimp paste is mixed with the rice.

Season with sugar and pork flavour seasoning powder.

Done, shrimp paste fried rice.

Then make side dishes to eat with shrimp paste fried rice with sweet pork (khao kluk kapi). The side dish is omelet. When finished frying the omelet, Chop all the omelets.



Then slice the mango.

Chop acacia pennata, shallots, bird's eye chilli.

Done, side dishes to eat with shrimp paste fried rice with sweet pork (khao kluk kapi).

Finally, make shrimp paste fried rice with sweet pork (khao kluk kapi). Put the shrimp paste fried rice on a plate first. Then add all the side dishes and the sweet pork on the rice.

Done, shrimp paste fried rice with sweet pork (khao kluk kapi).
