Hello fellow Hivians!

I'm a day late unfortunately but celebrated non the less. This year's National Beer day (April 7th) was during the week and life has been absolutely insane for me so we opted to stay in and not do a brewery visit. Instead I broke out one of my new favorite gems, Dragon's Milk's signature Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout.

So what makes this a new gem? Well, generally this is sold in bottle form and is absurdly expensive. However, I was visiting my local Costco to stock up on chicken, ground beef, and a few of the other bulk essentials and ran across a 12 can 50/50 pack from this amazing brewery including their white stout version of their signature beer. I had never had a white stout and let me tell you, if you like stout style beers at all, you'll absolutely love it. The best part, it was for only $9.99. You generally can't even find the 4 packs for that price.

Brewery: New Holland Brewing Company (Michigan US)
Style: American Imperial Stout
ABV: 11%
Character: Deep dark pour with light foam. You can smell strong notes of chocolate, malts, and coffee with a hint of caramel and of course that whiskey note. The taste is incredibly smooth and the chocolate and whiskey notes blend together with a perfect 1 - 2 combo.

Be careful with this beer however. At 11% and how smooth it is it is easy to down them and they hit hard.
