Feathered Friends - Round 36 - Bird Eyes.

Another great week of #featheredfriends and I love this theme suggested by @zhanavic69 and @eolianpariah I do think birds eyes like any living animal or human you can always tell by looking into there eyes what they are feeling whether it maybe happiness, sadness, anger, stress, excitement, curiosity, comfort or fear the eyes never lie they show all.

As with this little baby bird that my lady friend bought for her boyfriend, he loves birds and this is called a Forpus bird, but often called Forpus Parrotlets they are a smaller version of a Parrot bird in the same family and they have the same personality as the larger parrot only this is a smaller parrot in a smaller body, they are quick at learning to talk and as you can see from his eyes he is feeling happy, safe and comfortable nestled in his Dad's hands.

Normally when you see a birds eyes enlarged or big and they have there crest held back it's a sign of the bird feeling excited or interested in something or it showing that they are feeling relaxed and excited to see you.

When birds eyes are looking direct and focusing this means they are focusing on there prey and getting ready for the attack so if you see a direct eye gaze and focusing from your pet bird this could mean he is not happy maybe you forgot to feed him or when of and left him to long, feeling ignored and can be a imminent danger to you by biting you, birds are like little kids they are always wanting attention.

Oh my, you nailed it again. How many and diverse birds you got to show, but the little one is just adorable nesting in the hand.

Lovely captures of close-ups of bird eyes. The little parrot (Forpus bird) is cute with turquoise feathers and big eyes.
