I Will Quit Hive Soon
Good day to you all beautiful and handsome hivians, I humbly welcome you all to a new day and i pray God grants all your heart have ever desired. I here today to share something i noticed this few weeks that i have been in the hive learners community posting. There have been several words from our MOD'S, lately about begin for upvotes, We even made a Task post on it talking about vote begging in this post Hive Guidelines & Markdowns in this Task you will see all about vote begging, plagiarism, I wrote about it.

In this same problem called vote begging a solution was given by the MOD'S in this post Quality Engagement vs Quality Contents in this post we were in thought on how to get visibility and upvote by engagement, It was said by my role model who is @starstrings01 that quality engagement and quality content can give you the visibility and vote you need without engaging in vote begging.
Which most of us have been doing, Now, I will love to speak for myself I have tried as much as possible to engage on hivians post not just to gain visibility or upvote but to also make quality friends in this great community. Almost everyday even with my tight schedule i try as much as possible to read through the post of other newbies and outside the hive learners community.
𝙒𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝘼𝙍𝙀 𝙏𝙃𝙀𝙔 𝘿𝙊𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙒𝙍𝙊𝙉𝙂
I have been doing the needful by adding my own support to the community members in the sense that i engage on the newbies post give my own point of view, I must say that i have noticed a lot of wrong act from the members of this prestigious community and it bothers me almost every day.
I have come to notice that newbies and the members of the community engage on your blog but will not give an upvote they only come in to give their own point of view and ignore to upvote, Don't Quote me in this post wrong please read below.
The main holy grail in what am trying to say is we all know what to do the right thing to do, You don't expect people to engage your post and vote you and you do the same and ignore the voting part. This is really unfair like i said earlier in this post it is not a vote begging an doing it is only an observation I saw and am releasing to the public so the moderators can see to this problem. They're the only one who can put a stop to this act it is unnecessary.
I never had intentions of quiting hive, I was only using the caption to draw your attention to this important observation which i will be very glad if the moderators can deeply look into it, I might be the only one pouring out my observation which i am sure others in this community have observed but decided not to say anything.
I am not quitting hive and i will never quit hive, I am only given my observation and it will benefit everyone when it is taken care of and i want thank all of you who read this post of mine thanks.
I haven't noticed this but maybe it is because I haven't paid attention to it
I pray the audience you are trying to reach which are Newbies gets to read this post and take necessary corrections
I don't know about you but it is really happening,I have even seen a case we're by the person did a post of 250+ words and the vote was amazing, and i have done good post too and I don't get, I am not vote begging like I said in the post it is what I observed you come in engage my post and you tell me great post and you don't upvote isn't that strange.

I thank God you have noticed also it is very bad and i upvote other people's post. And they come in my post to argue and don't upvote the author.
Me too, even when I make comment on a post I upvote too, but some people don't do that
And other people just upvote and doesn't comment. Like me :)

What I see here is favouritism. Most people including myself vote for people we have Personal relationship with more instead of voting according to the quality of the post.
I'll try to vote more on quality than Personal relationship.

Exactly, but I know of some persons no matter how you engage with them, they won't still upvote your post so what can you say about that. When I say engage, I mean really engagement 😊.
At some point, I feel like no longer engaging with such persons but, no, I know one day, they will come around but these things happen.
The reason for engagement is not actually for getting their votes but for building genuine relationships. So it should not be expected at first.

What about cases where you engage and make good quality post? The true be told, I see these things but I feel like is part of building something great, nothing good comes easy so I don't complain but the fact is it happens.

You have spoken well @hopestylist you can vote people you personal relationship with no issues, and yes good content are too be voted too and like I said i am not perfect I can't say or beat my chest that I do write the best content but I try and take my time to drop something reasonable. And yes am glad you saw a point in these post.

Well you are right am not here for long and it doesn't mean the longer you stay the results you will produce. Most people can come today and bench that's life. I wonder if @starstrings01 is not seeing words you used that is very inappropriate.

Hey man! Hm about your observation, the thing is the vote from a newbie has little to no value, then why worry to have it. Moreover, it is their interests to like your post if they really did enjoy your content! Things would get better. Just trust the process.
@starstrings01 and when the newbies start following the trails of Lazy-panda this issue will be solved too. It's common sense that we can't curate all and no one is entitled to votes because they do x amount of work.

I try as much to vote contents in the community, I come across and also try to vote outside the community.
It's a good thing even our official trail of lazy-panda does the same. we have a daily report where we publish curations of the outside community too.
True @dlmmqb no one is entitled but appreciation gives motivation.
Thank you my role model @starstrings01 to be honest you are right but you know effort and brain works are put in every post, I won't say am perfect in content written but I have seen content i did not appreciate and I showed love because I knew effort was put in a 1000+ word c'mon I should at least give some rewards even though it doesn't make sense. I have seen situations were an author Will not write a catchy content and the content is about almost 250 words and still get upvote. We should just do the right thing that's all show love and support to effort dropped. Thanks
Too bad life itself is not constructed that way. Everyone have the way they perceive things, one man's food is another man's poison. The 250 words you call senseless can be of something another would prefer.
As I said earlier a content of 1000 words doesn't makes it quality though if it is an original content then effort is being placed into it, what the author needs to with on is his visibility (awareness).
You are right but you got misunderstood me, I never called 250 words senseless, I only said sometimes it got upvotes more than a quality content.

Uhm🤔...I used to experience this but I stopped complaining, just doing it for the love of it and sticking by the rules, ask the big guys what I can do or not do, their Solutions works
I know many would have noticed and i love the fact that you are acknowledging that you noticed too i myself get guidance from the big guys but this not the big guys fault. But an Individual act and i only came out to speak up because the big boys will take care of the problem.
