This is a story i can't forget in my whole life, I was traumatized for some months i can't say how many months but i was sure that around that period i was traumatized but was able to get myself together as soon as possible. It is an event that took place years back around if i am not mistaken 2017, I could remember it was my aunt's place that i was living then her place for a room and parlor apartment.

Actually, I was staying with my auntie based on my new job, I got a job in a hospitality firm and it was called or rather named Pavilion it was a very beautiful new hotel, I was taking in (employed) as a waiter, It was beautiful a place that when you come in your first study (thought) would be “Am i in the united states because it was a beautiful hospitality firm. I am supposed to be in my aunt's place so it can be easy for me to go to work, I really was thankful to my auntie because how do i want to manage everyday to work from my area which was far away from my place of work.

I had no issues staying with my auntie i was not being treated badly, She got little kids too my cousins lovely and respectful. Now back to the main story it all happened on a Friday i was at home no work, No i was a leave which was giving to me by my company, So i was at home that day i wasn't planning on going any where on the contrary i was trying to use my leave permission to have a good rest, but my auntie came and told me that there's youths vigil.

She said it was happening that Friday night, I told her i would love to stay at home but she said no and insisted i go to the youths vigil, I did not want to disrespect her so i prepared and i was on my way to the youths vigil. The vigil was cool got to meet my friends there it all went smooth the vigil it was filled with we youths strictly youths, To be honest i was in love with the youths vigil until something evil happened in the church. The vigil lasted until 4:00am that morning i guess it was 4:45am, We were all called to come have breakfast I had my phone plugged on the socket before going to grab my breakfast.

Now i went to the que stand to go grab mine while i was standing waiting for my tea and my bread, I was watching my phone so it got to my turn that little time my eyes was not on the phone, I guess 1min my eyes was off the phone immediately i grabbed my breakfast and turned i noticed my phone wasn't there again only the charger for some seconds was thinking it is a prank or something asked everyone in that premises everyone said no they did not see any phone.

I called with someone's phone immediately it was saying switched off immediately again i ran to the security and said to him my phone is missing please detain everyone and he did so trust me he searched everyone the phone wasn't still discovered i was crying infact in my mind i was blaming my auntie that day i went home and she could notice my face so down looking sad, She asked what happened and i told her and she bursted in cry, Blamed herself while she cried and Even myself that moment i still could not believe that my C8 was gone and too cut the story short that was how my first phone got robbed of Me.

This happened eight months later after the first stealing of my phone in the church this to happened as a result of me going to a vigil i was walking to my friends place her mother invited me the vigil so i was walking down to their place because it wasn't too far from my work place. I was on my earpiece hearing my music while i stroll down as i was been yell out too by two guys i thought they were lost or something so i walked up to them and the next thing one of them showed me a gun and immediately i freezed was even about to take of and he was like if i run he will waste me so i obeyed and cooperated wit them and one of them began to say “You dey fly color abi” I was like bro i no fly color and he was like am i saying he's lying i said no, I was so scared at that moment nobody absolutely no one in that vicinity to save me.

The next thing they said was bring out your phone who did you call today and i began too understand they were cultist, Now i am about to tense the story up one of their member was killed because of the cult fight and their opponents color is blue i wore blue so you can see that i am practically dead but thank my creator for saving my life by using one of the guys pointing gun at me to ask some unnecessary questions like were am i from i told him imo state and he was like “nwafor” means my town person or my brother from same village.

That was how we had a conversation in our dialect and he began to tell me that today I'll not die because we are kind of brothers the other one wasn't understanding because he was a Yoruba guy, Phone rang and it was the igbo guy that picked and he put the phone on loud speaker and i over heard their boss saying they should shoot me that was how i began to beg and cried but the one who was my town person said to the boss that i know not what's going on and that was how i was free but they robbed me off my phone.

This story means a lot to me because i had to experience same phone issues two times in a year and in a similar scenario (Vigil) it is not easy too face such calamity two times in a year, I had to even escape death what if he had shot me i won't be writing this story now on HIVE. So it means a lot to me my life was spared by the grace of God so this is a story i chose carefully and i hope you enjoy it as you read.

What an unfortunate situation, it is very sad that it has happened in a church where everyone is supposed to be brothers, what you should know is that no one is guilty of something like this happening, it just happened.
The second experience was terrifying, I understand you, because I went through a similar situation in my native country, Venezuela, thank God where I currently live Brazil, it is a little safer. I hope this doesn't happen again.

Sorry for this kind of unfortunate thing that happened. It reminds me of an ugly situation of robbery attack I had many years ago. Hmmm it's well

All I can say is that I am happy you were not hurt in any way. I wonder why someone would choose to steal in a church of all places. You're whole. That's all that matters.
