Week 37: Returning to Passive Income: The DEFI Token | 2022 SATURDAY SAVERS CLUB

In this Week 37 of our Saturday Savers Club, I return my attention to passive income. Several Hive investments have created a steady steam of income for me each week. Since my approach is slow and steady, I'm not looking to cash in on a huge sum and take unnecessary risks with unproven products.

A token I recently invested in has an bit different sup. I'm still learning how the token works. My initial purchase was 500 DEFI.

DEFI TOKEN

@hivebuilder reports that DeFi is a Hive blockchain token. Its APR increases, ranging from 10% to 40% over a 30 week period.

You simply buy DeFi on Hive-Engine or TribalDextribaldex. The fixed purchase price is 0.1x hive during the 7-day buying period in a particular round.

CAUTION: (you are advised not to pay more than 0.1x hive as this is the fixed buyback rate!).

Next, hold the tokens in your wallet so you can receive daily rewards.

The good news: NO STAKING required.

1} The DEFi project has already completed its first round. Afterward, @hivebuilder provided the full returns with full liquidity for token holders so they could cash out if desired.

2} The DeFi Token is now in Round 2. If holders are satisfied with their rewards, they can just hodl their tokens to earn more APR the next week on their previous rewards. This is the option I've decided. I look forward to my increased APR and rewards.

Here's what I also learned about the DEFi Token:

• Increasing APR rewards from 10% up to 40% over a 30 week period;

• Buyback wall is built up over time to provide liquidity for investors wanting to sell their DeFi tokens.

• Capital received from DeFi token sales is used off-chain to generate returns while the initial capital is untouched.

• Funds raised from token sales will be used to earn through various projects including Splinterlands and AlienWorlds.

• Rewards are used to build the buyback wall DeFi tokens at the fixed price of 0.1x Hive. @hivebuilder states that these measures ensure the DeFi token is sustainable and scalable.

HBD Savings. Returning to WEEK 1, I'm now moving at a steady pace in Week 10. I transferred 4.27 HBD** to my savings. My total HBD Savings to date is: 320.719. My goal is 667.95 HBD.
