Worship Camp Bohol 2023

My long weekend was spent well. Our scheduled Worship Camp in Bohol this year was realized and it really blessed several Boholanos and other aspiring musicians from other provinces. Our coaches who have the heart of service included Pastor Ive Villanueva, Pastor Justin San Agustin, Pastor Joshua Rafols, and Pastor Daryl Lomugdang who shared with us so many lessons about music, worship, and discipleship!

I was a volunteer for this camp but I was also blessed in a great way because of the learnings I had also gained even if I am not a camper. I volunteered to be part of the media committee where I documented the event through photos and videos.

After every day of this four-day camp, I had to submit the edited photos I took and give them to Bashie, one of our committee members who have access to the social media accounts of the worship camp. This was actually the third camp done by the said ministry. The first one was in Cebu City in 2019, in 2020 up to 2021, due to the pandemic, there was hiatus but in 2022, they had their second camp in Daet, Bicol and so Bohol was the third one.

Being a volunteer was not easy but I am glad I committed myself to this service because I truly enjoyed every bit of it. My husband was also part of the media team, he was more into the video coverage while I was into the photos but I also took a few videos.

The majority of the photos I took were already posted on the social media accounts of the said ministry but I found out there were still photos from our Fuji camera which was not uploaded and these were taken by random volunteers who were trying to learn about photography as well and had asked my husband and me on how to do such and such on a camera.

I am glad to be uploading ten of the many photos she took. I didn't edit any single one of them and I am really impressed with how she was able to get the focus well although the camera lens was a manual one.
