In the world of content creation, there is competition for viewership, engagement, and retention especially if monetization is at stake. In this video, I speak about the clever aspects of attraction that people apply in other to get others hooked to their content. However, in this video, there's a different view and opinion which I talked about especially when it comes to creating a "push for click" impression. In this video, I talked about how the diabolics of advertising can relate to click baiting and how the results and intents are the same. I finally give my verdict on this and totally different from anything conventional.

As you mentioned click baiting does have its advantages and disadvantages, miss using it can cause one to be seen as time waster. I want to be visiting a bait content with the intention of it worthy of my attention.

Am absolutely up for it when used rightly for valuable content. You have a point there, having to use it effectively calls for knowing and confident in what you have to offer.

I have people I watch their videos, I have blogs that drags people's attention to some particular kind of posts, blogs or even Ads embedded in links and images. I think for me, I love it when people understands how to use it. It's like I saw, sometimes you expect something then get another thing in return.
Click baiting can be very good and can be bad but if used for good it can be very powerful to advertise and see more result

I think, for people who effectively uses it, it can be very good, I think when it pisses me off is when it's intention are to lead me astray. Many of our naija bloggers are guilty of this.
"push for click" impression...its so annoying for me when I click a link and it drives me to another link and so on.

There are good and bad ways but I generally don't like it that much. I usually give people some time but if they are just clickbait, I won't come back for more.
