My Cousin's Wedding Day💑💒👰💍💐

What a joy to celebrate special moments with family and relatives✨ Yesterday I was privileged to witness the sacrament of marriage of my cousin Geraldine and her now-husband Junmark. Congratulations and cheers to the newlyweds! 🥂

The ceremony was held in Alliance of Two Hearts Parish in Cebu City. Based on my observation about one hundred fifty-ish guests attended the wedding. The bride and groom do certainly come from big families. Speaking of families, if you are Filipino or if you are Asian, you would know that so much of our culture really honour our families. One of the evidences of this would be at weddings, when usually, and I quote, the "typical Filipino wedding" involves a lot of visitors because not just the family and relatives are invited, but the whole small town like "barangay" or "barrio".🥲 If you have attended weddings in provinces here in the country, you will notice how there are so many guests present during the wedding - most of which are even not familiar faces to the newlyweds!😅

Anyway going back (sorry for the rant up there hehe) - the wedding ceremony was beautiful. Tears were shed, mostly from the groom, the father's groom, and the bridesmaids in attendance.🤧 Soon after the ceremony and pictorials, the reception followed. The events place was just below the church, which was truly convenient for all the guests.

I appreciate the wedding decor - from the chandeliers to the colourful flowers to the candlesticks and all ~ it looked glamorous and stylish! Even when the space was a bit small somehow the wedding coordinator made the place looked like a fairy tale.

It was a breath of fresh air seeing two people so in love, so much so their eyes literally sparkle ~ I'm happy for the my cousin that she found The One❤️ A little background is that she's a single mother and the guy who impregnated her years ago did not take responsibility. A decade and some years after, fast forward, here we are, all gathered, to celebrate with her, as she has found her life partner, after all these years.💓

Long live you both, cheers to forever, Mister and Missus!!💐✨💑
