When I decide to get away from the town by going into the rural roads in the early hours of the morning, the word "escape" comes to my mind...

Cuando decido alejarme del pueblo adentrándome por los caminos rurales en horas tempranas, me viene a la mente la palabra "evasión"...

The atmosphere transforms everything... The fog transmutes what is usually a simple, everyday view into a maze of elements, lights and shadows, full of eloquence and often drama... .

La atmósfera lo transforma todo... La niebla transmuta lo que usualmente es una vista simple y cotidiana en un entrevero de elementos, luces y sombras, cargado de elocuencia y muchas veces de drama...

Small everyday miracles as this spider's web can go unnoticed most of the time, but when the dew invades its fine threads, it becomes a small vision of magic...

Pequeños milagros tan cotidianos como esta telaraña pueden pasar desapercibidos la mayoría de la veces, pero cuando el rocío invade sus hilos se convierte en una pequeña visión de magia...

The trees' silhouettes come to life and appear and disappear according to the rhythm that the dense fog imposes on them in its morning walk, when it submerges the valley and surroundings in white cottons...

Las siluetas de los árboles cobran vida y van apareciendo y desapareciendo según el ritmo que la densa niebla les imponga en su matutino paseo matutino, cuando sumerge al valle y sus alrededores en sus algodones blancos...

The few people who circulate along the dirt road do so in silence, as if in communion with the mysteries and uncertainty imposed by the dense fog that envelops them...

Las pocas personas que circulan por el camino de tierra lo hacen en silencio, como comulgando con los misterios y la incertidumbre impuestos por la densa niebla que les envuelve...

A secondary road turns into a wooded world which seems to be populated by elves and fairies waiting for a glimpse of sunlight to come out of their hiding places and start brightening the day...

Un camino secundario se transforma en un mundillo boscoso el cual pareciese poder estar poblado por duendes y hadas esperando algún atisbo de luz solar para salir de sus escondites y comenzar a alegrar el día...

The sun is already high above the horizon and its efforts to overcome the gloom are paying off... So, soon the magic will escape from here, then reality will come to turn these landscapes into intertwined greens, blues, yellows and cheerful whites... But before this happens, I try to steal some more scenes...

El sol ya está alto sobre el horizonte y sus esfuerzos por vencer las penumbras están rindiendo frutos... Así que, en breve la magia se escapará de aquí, entonces vendrá la realidad a convertir estos parajes en verdes, azules, amarillos y blancos alegres enlazados entre si... Pero antes de que esto suceda, yo procuro robar algunas escenas más...

One last drama, one last glimpse into that world of elves and hidden fairies, is enclosed in a complex and eloquent rectangle, as if it had been created to be in black and white.

Un ultimo drama, un ultimo atisbo a ese mundo de elfos y hadas escondidas, queda encerrado en un rectángulo complejo y elocuente, tanto como si hubiese sido creado para ser en blanco y negro.

On the way back, the town wakes me up, shaking me with its vision of paved streets, people and noises.

Ya de vuelta, el pueblo me despierta sacudiéndome con su visión de calles pavimentadas, personas y ruidos...
