Ahh~ finally I can share this art which is perfect for this day!

I totally ship Ocean Female Healer & Forest Male Healer! 🥰😩 Of course, a healer couple will never happen, haha! But maybe in the parallel universe of Holozing! 😆

Love comes in different forms, right? It can be in an intimate way, friendship, motherhood, etc. Maybe these guys are just friends for now. 😆

But, yeah, I do hope you received some love today! 🥰

Art Process

I found a cute couple YCH reference on Pinterest! YCH means Your Character Here. For what I know so far, YCH is a preset pose or animation already. All the artist has to do is to put your character.

I separated the sketch for both of the characters so that it can be easily adjusted later.

For lineart, I used a solid brush with different weights on it.

Next, I color-picked the base colors from the original art. I adjusted the saturation a bit to match the overall vibe of the artwork. Next, I started working with the soft shadows in hair, accessories, skin, and clothing.

I intensified more the shadows by putting cell shades. I wanted to intensify the blushy cheeks by choosing a deeper color of pink and red. Ocean Healer is tearing up a bit because of the nonstop giggle so I have to put subtle tears in the corner of the eyes, hehe. Also, a slanted soft, red line on the cheeks to show the character is blushing.

Next, I used a flat brush for the hair shines for both of the characters. I used the same brush to erase hard edges and then used a blur brush to soften them further.

Final Art

To complete the art, I searched for an image on the asset store as the background. Particularly, I want some heart shapes and pinks! 💖 That Japanese character there means giggles☺️. Next, put some noise filter. And then, added a white borderline for some detail, and tadaaa~ Finished art! ❤️✨
