Hola, me llamo Jesús y nací un veintiséis de octubre; misma fecha, pero muchos años antes, nació el santo y sabio José Gregorio Hernández, ilustre médico de los pobres en Venezuela. Mi tía, la comadrona que me atendió, me dio el nombre del médico para ver si yo también me convertía en santo o en sabio o en ambas cosas. A los pocos minutos mi tía sumó y comprobó que en la familia ya estaban José Evangelista, José Etanislao, José Manuel y muchos otros, así que como la lista era larga, me quitaron el José y con él, creo, la posibilidad de que yo fuera santo o sabio o ambas cosas.

Con la niñez se me alborotó un deseo por leer y otro por escribir; con la juventud descubrí que también un veintiséis de octubre, pero de otro siglo, nació el escritor venezolano Miguel Otero Silva; a mi edad, creo que por ahí viene la palanca de mis deseos de ser escritor.

¿Por qué esa introducción? porque tiene que ver con el libro Oratoria en 21 días Porque es el primer ejercicio de este proyecto editorial con el que el joven guanareño, conferenciante, profesor y escritor, Francisco Javier Torrealba, aspira introducirnos en la práctica "consciente" del discurso oral. Para Francisco @franvenezuela, la oratoria es un arte que exige disciplina, trabajo, constancia y productos.

Why this introduction? Because it has to do with the book Oratory in 21 days. Because it is the first exercise of this editorial project with which the young guanareño, lecturer, professor and writer, Francisco Javier Torrealba, aspires to introduce us to the "conscious" practice of oral discourse. For Francisco @franvenezuela, public speaking is an art that requires discipline, work, perseverance and products.
