Food Carving Task: Bird Carving (watermelon)

To achieve something greater than I thought is such an amazing feeling I've ever had. Last Wednesday we had our food carving task in our Contemporary Arts subject. Carving means the act of using tools to shape something from a material by scraping away portions of that material which I learned from our lesson which is also part in our performance task.

I really believed that when had something to achieve is we need to sacrifice, give effort, time, dedication, hardwork and prayer for the best and for our desire.

According to Walt Disney
“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.” Yes I would totally agree to this, without the courage to face the risk then we cannot reach our goals. In this world there are so many struggles, challenges that we may encounter and it's normal and the best choice that we can have is not to focus in the world instead focus to your life, to the Lord and to your dreams.

Now let me share guys how did we cope up to this carving.

In the first place one of the reason why we had a struggles about cutting this watermelon is because the classic of watermelon is not as good as what I think it is though I expected that the result of our carving is like of what is the result in the YouTube. It really takes time before we finished this task. Phew! It was challenging but I remind myself to do it with love, slowly and then everything will be fine. The name of our food carving task is "Bird Carving"

FINISHED PRODUCT

After how many minutes we have been carving, here we are the finishing product of our task food carving. Supposed to be we are three in a group but one of my member had her practice in chess for the coming district meet competition that's why only the two of us.

After we had finally took a picture of our product, then what do you think is next? Well, we have eaten our bird carving, it was so delicious, after eating this remind me of how sweet will be the result of pursuing something especially for the sake of excellence in school.

TRUE TO LIFE

In conclusion to that, I would say that this is very good example when we will compare this to life, in order to reach and enjoy the result and our dreams in life we have to face the challenges, if we really love something to reach then will pursue it as long as we can stand on it. There's no dreams that doesn't pay at low price it is always costly, let's just fo it diligently in order to reminisce the progress out of many challenges.

That's all for our food task carving, after we took a photo our dear teacher said that we need to post it in social media so I did and I'm so glad to see those comments saying that it is beautiful and they congratulate my group for the job well done.
