The summer season in the Philippines is already here and it was forecasted by the weather bureau that will last up to May. So brace yourselves for coming warmer days, so keep yourselves hydrated and better bring something that will give you shade if you ever happen to go out like an umbrella or cap so as to protect you from the scorching heat of the sun. On the other hand, you can beat the summer heat by soaking yourself on the beach. Just like what we did with my wife together with our mom and her cousins.

Yesterday I and my wife went to this very well-known island resort in Oslob, which I assumed that everyone from Cebu already heard about it, the Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort. A beautiful resort that is perfect for summer getaways. As you can see in the photo below viewing from the mainland of Oslob, Cebu is the Sumilon island. We actually booked online for the reservations.

Since the resort did a summer promo we grab it immediately and booked online as early as last week. Instead of paying their regular price of 1500 Php during weekdays due to their summer promo we only paid 600 Php each person for a day, less than half the price, isn't it a huge cut? but as far as I know, during weekends the price is much higher than the weekdays. While waiting for the boat that will transfer us to the island, we did a couple of photos in their reception area.

We went to their docking area to have more photos.

After a few minutes, one of the receptionists of the resort gave us a paper wristband indication that we are now ready to get on board and head on to the island resort.

As we arrived on the island Mama and her siblings immediately pose at the entrance with the name of the resort engraved in a piece of wood fronting in the mainland. And since it was almost lunchtime we all head on to their restaurant.

On the way to the restaurant, lots of wooden signboards were placed in every alley pointing the direction to every site of the island. And along the way to the restaurant is their infinity pool that stood on the highest peak of the island that caught our attention and even made me pause for a while because of its scenic view of the mainland and it seems the water of the pool is seamlessly connected to the sea, an infinity pool indeed.

The best thing with promo is the inclusions that come with it and these include their mouthwatering foods. They served a buffet at the restaurant and we did fill our table with it. I will be sharing their menu in the next content by the way so see it for yourself😉.

Few minutes after we ate our lunch the girls did change their outfits and took a stroll on the nearby site just a few meters away from the restaurant. Fronting the restaurant is a kiddie pool that measures 3 feet more or less, and just beside the restaurant and the kiddie pool is the lagoon where you can rent a kayak for 100 Php for 30 minutes.

And of course, photoshoots won't be missed with these girls. Here are some of the snaps that I took.

After a couple of photoshoots, we then head on to the other side of the island wherein the sandbar is located but unfortunately it was high tide so we didn't witness it at all. Instead, we did a few minutes of freedive together with Janine one of my wife's cousins. After a while, we decided to head back and went to their infinity pool.

Though we didn't witness the sand bar we still enjoyed the infinity pool, especially the girls who had a few photos taken while dipping in the pool. Look at their smiles as they finally have new photos to be uploaded on their socials.
