Making Our Own Version Of Garlic Butter Shrimp For Lunch

Hello there Hivers, hope everyone is doing fine. For today's content, I will be sharing again another recipe, and this time around will be doing a seafood recipe. Lately, I and my wife have been craving seafood, especially the garlic butter shrimp, and it has been a while since we went out to a restaurant to have dinner or lunch. So, rather than spending it out at a resto, we both decided to have it made at home.

Lucky enough we have met this seafood seller who offers free deliveries and sells his products at a much cheaper price than on the marketplace. He also offers a variety of seafood from crabs to scallops and shrimp. So we bought 1 kilo of shrimp and plan to do a garlic butter shrimp for our lunch. So allow me to share with the community our own version of garlic butter shrimp.

To begin with, we prepared all the simple ingredients these are the shrimps, of course, the butter cloves of garlic and onions that are both chopped in smaller sizes, and black pepper as well.

Once all the ingredients are ready we then prepared the pan and placed the butter let it all melt with medium heat. Right after the butter melts place the garlic and onions at once, saute until the garlic turns golden brown in color.

Before doing all the sauteing we did soak the shrimp in the Soda for a few minutes so as to let the shrimp absorb some flavor of the soda.

Just after the garlic turns golden brown we then put the shrimp in the pan, and saute it together with the onions and garlic until such that the shrimp change into orange color which indicates that the shrimp is already cooked.

We then add the soda to the mixing wherein the shrimp is being soaked earlier just to add sweetness to the buttered dish. We also sprinkled a black pepper to add a bit of a spicy taste.
