Life On Two Wheels Series #19 | #Monomad Challenge
Hello there once again Black and White community, hope everyone enjoyed their weekend, it's going to be a new week again tomorrow so better enjoy the rest of the day Hivers, and for today's content, I will be sharing again my photo series regarding Life On Two Wheels this photo series is all about vehicles with two wheels, particularly motorbikes wherein I capture the subject while they are moving fast to create a dramatic blurry motion while the subject is in great focus.
I often turned these photo series of mine into Black and White because I believe these kinds of photos are appropriate for mono colors at the same time my entry as well for the #monomad challenge of @monochromes. Below are some of my snaps, check them out.
In capturing these photos I usually position myself from afar so as not to notice by the riders, lucky enough I use a telephoto lens which I can easily zoom in with ease. But sometimes there are some observant riders that will notice that they were being photographed as I do the panning shot. Just like in the 2nd photo, the guy seemed to be aware that he was being photographed as he looked at the camera while his back rider was holding an empty bottle of beer.
In taking photos of fast-moving subjects I used to set the camera settings to continuous shooting mode with a slower shutter speed that is not higher than 1/100 so as to get a blurry background of the subject, and a continuous shooting mode which will help to sort out the good shot because sometimes it's inevitable to any photographer to capture a good single-shot photo especially if you're taking a fast-moving subject like of motorbikes.
As for me I usually had 3 or more photos of each of these photos I uploaded, and I just chose the good ones with a blurry background and had great focus on the subject.
I tried several times to take pictures of motorbikes on the road but never succeeded, and today I saw in your post it was really amazing.
Yay! 🤗
