Having A Great Lunch At Pulo Restaurant Of Sumilon Island

How to Throw a Wine & Cheese Party.png

Hi there Hivers, hope everyone is safe and doing well wherever you are on the globe. In my previous content, I mentioned that I will be sharing the foods that we have eaten during our weekend getaway in Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort. When we arrived on the Island it was exactly lunchtime and one of the staff of the resort guided us to their restaurant.

The restaurant serves a buffet, as well as an order basis from their menu. There is a lot of dishes to choose from on their menu they even serve international flavors as well. With the inclusion of the resort's day tour package, we were able to avail of their buffet, but we can also order the dishes on their menu if we wanted to but of course with additional payment. The restaurant's buffet was worth it anyway as you may come back to fill your plate with food a literally eat all you can set up resto.
But instead of keep coming back to get food, we did a life hack😁(Lol). What we did was each one of us will get a plate and each one will take only one dish that will be enough for all of us. Allow me to share the foods that we get on their buffet.

First off is their multi-grain wheat bread along with it are slices of papaya. The restaurant serves numerous tropical fruits as well. And the below photo is a dressed sweet potato that serves as a dessert.

The name of the islands restaurant, by the way, is "Pulo" which means in the Visayan language as Island which I think is appropriate since it is located on an island in the first place. As I notice in their menu the price will range from 390 Php to 2,999 for the most expensive dish but I think all are at a reasonable price anyway, especially the high-priced menu since it is a boodle feast set up with the menu included on it are the all-time Filipino favorite.

The Pulo restaurant also had international flavors served on their buffet including Italian cuisine. Just like this macaroni with tuna, not sure tho the name of this menu but sure thing this one really tastes flavorful.

Along with the other desserts they also have these bite-sized banana cake which was topped with sweet cream and crushed peanuts.

And of course, Filipino dishes will always be present on the table. We had pancit which is believed to give longer life because of its long-form strands and the pork stew or commonly known by Cebuano as Humba. We also get watermelon and vegetables.

Overall we had a good lunch at Pulo restaurant, very worth it food for the promo price we paid.
