THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD OF THE DAY

It was 7:30am and they were all set for school, every one was ready to move but he had his food in hands and didnt know if to eat or to pour it in the cooler and set out, pouring it in the cooler would take some time as well so it wasnt a matter to think about or else he might just be walking to school or using the commuters which was a riskier route. So he had to skip his meal and set out for school. He was the Maths prefect and he was on high demands to show younger ones easier ways to solve their maths problems. But today, the maths guy has not eaten since morning.



Its often hard to understand when people say DO NOT SKIP BREAKFAST mean while it is usually the easiest food to skip for the young and old.

Many youths have not hard breakfast in the last 5 years, not even in the economic weather conditions where it seem like everyone is eating 0-1-0 or if you have what it takes, 0-1-1.

In the reality, it is true that the most important food of the day is breakfast and here is why.

Lets start from the previous night. When you go to bed and sleep 6 to 8 hours, you GI system which includes the Liver and Digestive enzymes have done thier job to clear out all the food debris along the path and preparing for a new day. Your hormones, especialaly the Glucose demanding ones are ready to pump you to a great new day, everything in your body is mostly at a restart, even your muscles which had been relax for the sleep. The charge you need is so glucose demanding, and when you run through the day without a welcoming breakfast, you deplete the reserve and begin to go into recycling storage which really shouldnt be tampered with except in extreme conditions.

Skipping breakfast can have various impacts on your health and well-being. Here are four important reasons why you should never skip breakfast:

  1. Boosts Metabolism: Eating breakfast kickstarts your metabolism, helping your body burn calories more efficiently throughout the day. This can even contribute to weight management and overall energy levels.

  2. Improves Cognitive Function: Breakfast provides essential nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, which are vital for brain function. If you have a busy day or exam day, it is best adviced to never skip breakfast. Consuming a nutritious breakfast can enhance concentration, memory, and overall cognitive performance.

  3. Stabilizes Blood Sugar Levels: Eating a balanced breakfast helps regulate blood sugar levels, preventing spikes and crashes. Your energy levels matter a lot. This steadier blood sugar control can reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes and promote better insulin sensitivity.

  4. Supports Overall Health: A nutritious breakfast can provide a significant portion of your daily nutrient needs, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. This supports your immune system, bone health, and overall well-being, reducing the risk of chronic diseases.

Now back to the above story, He chose wrongly just ahead of a busy day at school and how he met himself at the school clinic wasn't fun after he fainted due to the much activities.

That day all the student learnt no to be like him and to Never skip their breakfast. I m sure you also have learnt from him now. Now pass the knowledge to others and share.
