Welcome Hivers to this new post, today we continue with this week's summaries for the 7th Art & More theme. Today we will talk about a classic by William Shakespeare: Romeo and Juliet. However, this time I will mention the most recent version from 2013.
Bienvenidos Hivers a este nuevo post, el día de hoy seguimos con los resúmenes de esta semana para el tema de 7mo Arte & Más. Hoy hablaremos de un clásico de William Shakespeare: Romeo y Julieta. Sin embargo, esta ocasión les mencionaré la versión más reciente la de 2013.
The story narrates what happens in Verona, when two families: the Montagues and the Capulets live in conflict. Juliet, the daughter of the Capulets, has to choose whether or not to marry Paris, a wealthy count of the region, however, during a ball she falls in love with Romeo, the son of the Montagues.
La historia narra lo ocurrido en Verona, cuando dos familias: los Montesco y los Capuleto viven enfrentados. Julieta la hija de los Capuleto, tiene que escoger si casarse o no con Paris, un conde acaudalado de la región, sin embargo, durante un baile se enamora de Romeo, el hijo de los Montesco.
Ambos jóvenes enamorados se casan, a pesar de la disputa entre ambas familias. Sin embargo, en el camino se enfrentan a diversos problemas, y el más importante es el destierro de Romeo. Lo que causa que Julieta tenga que verse obligada a casarse con Paris, cosa que la lleva a pensar en el suicidio, aunque con ayuda del Fray Lorenzo piensa en otra idea.
The two young lovers marry, despite the feud between the two families. However, along the way they face several problems, the most important of which is Romeo's banishment. This causes Juliet to be forced to marry Paris, which leads her to think of suicide, although with the help of Friar Laurence she thinks of another idea.
The young woman takes a potion that will make her sleep as if she were dead, and then flees with her beloved Romeo. Unknowingly, Romeo's cousin, Teobaldo, tells his cousin about the tragedy, and the latter, hurt by the death of his beloved, decides to commit suicide in the place where the girl sleeps. Finally, Julieta wakes up and sees that her love is dead, she kills herself with the dagger she takes from her belt.

It is during a Carnival celebration that the love story between Romeo and Juliet begins, although it is described as a formal dance. The masks and the music used in the festivity make us think that it was a Carnival in the city, taking advantage of the visit of great characters.

Wearing a mask, Romeo is able to sneak into the party and successfully hides his identity. He is even accompanied by his best friend, Mercurio and Teobaldo. In addition, Juliet, who also wears a mask, is able to hide from the guests and go as unnoticed as possible.
