Trust Ratings
Trust ratings for mainstream media continue to decline. It seems people's eyes have finally been opened to how the media truly operates. The bias in modern media is glaringly obvious. Even certain journalists have admitted that some of their peers are paid to write reports favoring powerful individuals. It is ironic when a senator claims journalists are being paid, only for a journalist to deny it. The public quickly uncovers videos of other reporters admitting that their colleagues accept money to either stay silent or spin a favorable narrative for a specific person or group.
Furthermore, some media organizations openly argue with internet personalities online. Other outlets release reports with terrible proofreading, failing to check content before publishing it on social media. This clearly shows that the quality of journalism has deteriorated. Consequently, the public has grown weary of mainstream media as trust ratings continue to plummet.
Thursday
The weather is simultaneously sunny and rainy, caused by a typhoon entering the Philippine Area of Responsibility. Despite this, I remain hopeful that I will feel better soon, as I am currently dealing with an asthma flare-up.
Mountains and Skies
It is always beautiful when the mountains meet the sky, creating a picturesque landscape. These pictures are a few of my own shots taken in Buguias, Benguet.
