Pedestrian / Tuesday / Blooms of the North

Pedestrian
A man is about to cross the road in front of the hospital. He is a patient, but he needs to go out for some reason. Since there is a pedestrian lane, it should be easy to cross. Besides, he is already elderly—likely in his late 60s or 70s based on his appearance. As he is about to cross, a number of motorcycle riders pass by without even bothering to stop. When he thinks it is finally safe to cross, a van comes and sideswipes him
A video capturing what happened has gone viral online. The problem with many drivers is that they do not respect pedestrians crossing the lane. I have experienced this many times while crossing a pedestrian lane: fast-moving vehicles honk their horns to alert me, likely wanting me to stop. Of course, there are places that respect pedestrian lanes, particularly in the Benguet area (including Baguio City). However, the majority of places do not mind pedestrian lanes at all
Tuesday
Our 3-day Regional Convention is approaching and will start this Friday. There are a lot of things to prepare. Meanwhile, the weather remains gloomy, and I hope it won't rain during our convention
Blooms of the North
Elevated areas, especially the Cordillera region, have many beautiful blooming flowers. The cool weather is likely favorable for different varieties of flowers. The accompanying pictures were captured at Mount Olis in Atok, Benguet.
