1999 / Sunday / Countryside

1999
There have been a lot of changes this year. I entered my last year of high school, and I'll surely miss my friends and classmates. That's why I tried my best not to be absent during school days. Meanwhile, we experienced floods again, and for the second consecutive year.
Our cousins transferred to their new home during the last quarter of 1998, and I admit, I still miss them. Still, I'm glad because we had more privacy at that time.
I'm still spending a lot of time watching MTV. It used to be shown on Studio 23, a local channel, but this was the last year of their partnership.
During the year, Britney Spears rose to superstardom with her blockbuster debut album "...Baby One More Time." The Backstreet Boys broke records with their album "Millennium," driven by their superhit "I Want It That Way." TLC also returned with their chart-topping album "FanMail," making them some of the top artists of the year. It's also the year when several female teen-pop artists entered the music spectrum, including Christina Aguilera, who became very popular too, as well as Jessica Simpson and Mandy Moore. Latin acts also achieved success during the year with Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, and Enrique Iglesias.
Sunday
Got up from bed early today. I need to get things prepared like our breakfast, and lunch which we can eat after our weekend meeting in sign language.
Countryside
It's my second time to visit this countryside, but the first one was 17 years ago. That was so long ago, and I appreciated this place more now. Looks so relaxing.
