Hello friends, today I want to participate in the Monomad Challenge with the pictures I took of a first generation Ford F-series truck, which I could see in a parade of the local fairs in my city.

Hola amigos hoy quiero hacer mi participación en el Monomad Challenge con las fotos que hice de un camión de primera generación Ford F-series, el cual pude observar en un desfile de las ferias locales de mí ciudad.

What I liked most about this truck was its curved and rounded chassis, typical of the cars of yesteryear that I have seen in photographs and movies set in the middle of the last century. Something I could notice is that the body is much more resistant than the ones currently produced, it looks like a truck quite difficult to dent, the manufacturing materials have changed over time.

Lo que más me gustó de este camión fue su chasis curvo y redondeado, típico de los carros de antaño que he visto en fotografías y en películas ambientadas en la mitad del siglo pasado. Algo que pude notar es que la carrocería es mucho más resistente que las que se producen actualmente, parece un camión bastante difícil de abollar, los materiales de fabricación han cambiado con el tiempo.

About this truck I could find out according to Wikipedia that it is also known as Ford Bonus-Built and was manufactured from 1948 to 1952, after Ford stopped focusing on producing war vehicles, it was the first design for which Ford developed a chassis with the intention of carrying cargo. There are 8 models belonging to the F series, the F-1 is the lightest cargo model and the F-8 is the heaviest cargo model. The truck you can see in the pictures is an F-1, which can carry up to 4,700 lbs (2,132 kg).

Acerca de este camión pude averiguar según Wikipedia que es conocido también como Ford Bonus-Built y fue fabricado desde 1948 hasta 1952, después de que Ford dejó en enfocarse en producir vehículos de guerra, fue el primer diseño para el que Ford desarrolló un chasis con la intención de llevar carga. Los modelos pertenecientes a la serie F, son 8, el F-1 es el modelo de carga más ligera y el F-8 el modelo de carga más pesada. El camión que pueden observar en las fotografías en es un F-1, el cual puede cargar hasta 4,700 lb (2,132 kg).

I find it very interesting that this type of vehicle exists in my city, I hope to find it again at some point, in a more comfortable place to take pictures.

Me resulta muy interesante que existan este tipo de vehículos en mi ciudad, espero volver a encontrarlo en algún momento, en un lugar más cómodo para hacer fotografías.
