Hello everyone,
How are you all? I hope you are well and happy. When talking about happiness, what makes me happy is something simple. As the first child and only boy, I have an important responsibility, namely to make my parents and my sister at least happy. Just being a person who is not troublesome is already very good for me.

One of my big wishes, this year is how we as a family can take a short vacation. Even if only for a few hours, Even though I can only eat at a simple restaurant, or travel outside the city. It's taking them also brings back memories of when I was little. When I was little, my parents usually took me to public spaces or parks, even if it was just to look at animals and the streets.

Last weekend, my little sister say that she want to take her child on vacation. Because, her husband was out of town on business from the office. I felt very sorry because it seem like he needed to be entertained. My 2 year old nephew also needs a picnic even if he only sees strawberry gardens and cow farms. This also has a reason, Chayra must know about the natural surroundings.

Berastagi, is a small town in the highlands, precisely in Karo district, has cold weather and often rains, there is Mount Merapi nearby and that is what makes the area famous for its fertile soil for growing all types of vegetables and fruit. Famous for the work of almost all its people in farming and animal husbandry.

There is one place that I want to introduce to my nephew. Which is a place that I like to remember the time when I was at university. As a graduate of Animal Husbandry who often went to the cowshed when I was 20 years old. I want to introduce the farm to Chayra, that there is a place that can teach Chayra good things, there are animals that can produce milk and that can be drunk by humans.

Gundaling Farmstead, the only Holstein Friesian farm, produces pure cow's milk in Brastagi. The entrance to this place is quite easy to access, but I don't think there is public transportation on this quite steep road, you can use a motorbike or private car to get in.

Entering this place is free for anyone. You don't have to buy an entry ticket and it's without any conditions. You don't even have to pay for parking for the vehicle you bring. This place used to not have a restaurant, so next to the farm, there is a restaurant that is quite fancy for enjoying lunch and dinner. I heard that the prices were quite pricey compared to similar restaurants, so we just went to the farm.

This place is quite open, starting to enter you can smell the typical farm aroma, I really miss it, because I studied 4 years at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry so I already feel used to this typical aroma. there is one building that is quite large and it has 2 floors. On the 1st floor, there is a corner where you can order all the products from this farm, such as pasteurized pure cow's milk, yogurt, gelato and mozzarella cheese. You can see the price list with photos below:

Well, this is where I saw Chayra really wanted to enter the cow pen, it was quite far away because it would stress the cows in the pen, what's more, this is a public place and many people came to take photos in front of this fence. They have lots of Holstein Friesians and the pens are clean enough for a dairy farm.

I saw there were many people working to feed and clean the cages, the trained people even smiled at us. Chayra became more curious and cried and tried to go inside, but we were afraid she would get hurt if she left our grasp and entered the cow pen.

The quality of the cow's milk here is quite good, I like the texture and distinctive taste, it does have a slight smell, not like the milk in the packaging. I like chocolate-flavored milk which is sweeter than plain milk, but it's okay when this becomes an original product from Brastagi, I'm proud of it.

We came on a weekday, so very few people came, unlike on the weekend, it would be full of people on tour. You can see the photo of Chayra who was very happy when our milk order finally arrived, she took a photo as if she were the brand ambassador for this cow's milk product. It looks quite okay because Chayra's body is bigger than other babies, which indicates she is quite healthy as a 2 year old baby.
