Understanding the etiquette of life.

Hello good people of hive learner's community. I am happy to participate and to share an instance of a situation that contributed to the change in my life view. As humans we all differ in character. No two people have the same character, we always have what distinguishes us from another. While growing up we learn from several happenings around our environment. It may be the good or the bad, that's a choice we have. Getting to understand the different etiquette makes life interesting.

The behavior of most individuals has caused them to miss different opportunities in life. Few years back my boss assigned one of his favorite worker to buy some products for him. My boss claimed he didn't know the price of the product, so this worker saw it as an opportunity to make money from him. Going to buy the products the worker doubled the amount of each product. My boss didn't see it as anything as he paid for all the products, but the worker failed to notice that he was being tested by my boss even when the worker was his favorite. This worker was insincere and behaving in such manner has disqualified and deprived the worker of other interesting opportunities.

It was time for the company to recommend someone in a major employment, it was in my boss place to make the recommendation. Everyone was expecting him to recommend his favorite person. This time my boss did not what people expected but wanted his favorite person to understand the importance of honesty and good behavior. This favorite worker missed an opportunity with worth, just because of the little money added that wasn't reasonable enough. This situation contributed to my mindset about life that honesty is one of the best way to live with people. The world today doesn't believe in being honest that is why politicians today are not keeping to their words, neither do they even feel the suffering of the masses, all what they are after is making money for themselves. Being polite is another factor that needs consideration, I see some rich people being so rude to their subordinate and does not want to know a better way of treating their subordinate, effecting emotional pain to those subordinate.

Understanding the etiquette of life gives you a better view about life and reveals good ways to relate with those around you.
