Sublime Beautiful Sunday | Freedom after 3 months of curfew lockdown

Hurray !! Ho Chi Minh City is finally open !

The feeling of being in the outdoors after being locked in for over 3 months is just wonderful. Even though it's drizzling; the smell & taste of being on the streets drives the entire body's adrenaline on a high note! I wasn't even bothered to have breakfast or lunch because the thought staying inside just for another minute longer frustrates me. I wasn't expecting to feel this way but I guess the extended lock down does things to our mind. I did anyhow made sure that I take all the safety precautions when I'm outdoors.

In all the excitement, I still took a photo of myself opposite my apartment office while everyone was indoors hiding away from the rain. But it didn't matter to me as I wanted so badly to be outside. I even walked from another property to another just so I could get more steps for today. Think I covered over 5KM of steps all together which is an achievement compared to the last few months. I felt my thighs ache from the extended exercise today but it felt good! Not to mention that, the gyms are also opened today allowing us to start exercising back again.

The pool was still off limits to residents but it doesn't mean that I couldn't at least enjoy the beautiful sight of it from afar. It was still drizzling so I had to stay indoors when I took this selfie. As much I was looking forward to going back to the office, we had to follow the guidelines set by the local authorities. And for the safety of our residents, we had to triple up the precaution measures within our property. While we're all wanting our freedoms, it always comes with a set of consequences. And the lives of our residents & associates are not one that we're willing to compromise with.

Let's hope that we're better supported by the authorities as everything is still uncertain.
