¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo mi clásica reseña musical de todas las semanas, en esta ocasión quiero hablar sobre un artista que me gusta muchísimo que he escuchado muchas veces en mi vida y siento que ha tenido unos impactos increíbles, su calidad como cantautor es impresionante y definitivamente quería hablar sobre él hace tiempo, así que vamos a darle.

Today I bring you my classic music review of every week, this time I want to talk about an artist that I like very much that I have heard many times in my life and I feel that he has had some incredible impacts, his quality as a singer-songwriter is impressive and I definitely wanted to talk about him a long time ago, so let's hit it.

Comienzo este top musical con esta canción que me hizo conocer a Charlie Puth, aunque, de forma oficial, la canción que todo el mundo conoció sobre él es la que se viralizó por la saga de Rápidos y Furiosos, cuyo nombre es «See You Again» junto a Wiz Khalifa.
Sin embargo, la primera vez que yo escuché de forma oficial a este épico cantautor y productor musical fue con esta canción llamada Dangerously, la cuál, me parece un blues a una velocidad un poco más alta de lo habitual mezclada con elementos del R&B, cargada de sentimiento y además, con una letra que, en su momento, me llegó demasiado porque habla demasiado de cómo me sentí durante una relación súper tóxica que viví, dió directo en el clavo en mi vida.

I start this musical top with this song that made me know Charlie Puth, although, officially, the song that everyone knew about him is the one that went viral for the Fast and Furious saga, whose name is "See You Again" with Wiz Khalifa.
However, the first time I officially heard this epic singer-songwriter and music producer was with this song called Dangerously, which seems to me a blues at a speed a little higher than usual mixed with elements of R&B, full of feeling and also with lyrics that, at the time, got to me too much because it speaks too much of how I felt during a super toxic relationship I lived, hit the nail on the head in my life.
2.- We Don't Talk Anymore ft Selena Gomez
Este para mí es como uno de los himnos de Charlie Puth, porque no puedo pensar en su nombre y evitar que esta canción comience a sonar en mi cabeza; esta canción me gustó demasiado desde la primera vez que la escuché y además del hecho de que está muy bien compuesta como un clásico tema pop, tiene la voz de Selena Gomez dentro, así que no podía pedir algo mejor, es una colaboración que no sabía que quería escuchar hasta que sucedió.
La letra de esta canción es aún más fuerte que la anterior, porque esta no habla sobre un amor insano sino todo lo contrario, el hecho de extrañar a una persona que se fue y que queda ahí, en la memoria, el ver que ya no hablan como antes y que realmente necesitas de vez en cuando es una temática muy fuerte, sobretodo si pasas por un desamor reciente.
This one for me is like one of Charlie Puth's anthems, because I can't think of his name and avoid that this song starts playing in my head; I liked this song too much since the first time I heard it and besides the fact that it is very well composed like a classic pop song, it has Selena Gomez's voice inside, so I couldn't ask for something better, it's a collaboration that I didn't know I wanted to listen to until it happened.
The lyrics of this song are even stronger than the previous one, because this one doesn't talk about an unhealthy love but the opposite, the fact of missing a person that left and that remains there, in the memory, seeing that they don't talk like they used to and that you really need from time to time is a very strong theme, especially if you go through a recent heartbreak.
3.- Light Switch
Esta canción para mí es una de las mayores genialidades que ha hecho Charlie Puth en su historia como cantautor y productor, de hecho, antes de que la sacara, él mostró cómo grabó ese sonido del switch de luz y obtuvo esa epifanía para crear la canción, a mi juicio, una genialidad total, porque demostró que de cualquier cosa en la vida puedes hacer una canción, solo tienes que escuchar con atención.
El vídeo de esta canción me da mucha risa por la transición que tiene Charlie a nivel parodia de lo que es el salir de un desfalco amoroso para tratar de recuperar al amor de tu vida para luego ver que tú vales más que eso, es una locura con un mensaje poderoso.
This song for me is one of the greatest geniuses that Charlie Puth has done in his history as a singer-songwriter and producer, in fact, before he released it, he showed how he recorded that sound of the light switch and got that epiphany to create the song, in my opinion, a total genius, because it showed that anything in life you can make a song, you just have to listen carefully.
The video of this song gives me a lot of laughs because of Charlie's parody level transition of what it's like to get out of a love embezzlement to try to get back the love of your life and then see that you are worth more than that, it's crazy with a powerful message.
Bonus Track.- Live Medley ft John Legend
Lo volví a decir antes y lo diré ahora una vez más, siempre voy a buscar cómo cantan los artistas en vivo para poder admirarlos aún más, porque lamentablemente, la tecnología nos ha llevado a un punto en el que las personas no se esfuerzan por ser afinados y eso hace que en vivo se note demasiado el trabajo que realiza el productor en las mezclas.
Este año ocurrió un evento poderoso, se encontraron en un evento en vivo John Legend y Charlie Puth para tocar canciones del otro y culminar con la canción que coloqué en el puesto 3 en un formato en vivo magnífico, con esto cierro la reseña demostrando que Charlie es un cantautor y productor con muchísimo talento y muchísima calidad, tanto en grabación como en vivo, es un artista demasiado completo.
I said it before and I will say it again now, I will always look for how artists sing live so I can admire them even more, because unfortunately, technology has brought us to a point where people do not strive to be in tune and that makes live too much of the work that the producer does in the mixes.

Adoro a Charlie desde que comencé a escuchar música en inglés. Mi favorita es una bien simple, ni siquiera está lanzada como tal pero es su autor. Se llama "The Ukulele song" y fue una de las que me motivó a comprarme mi propio ukulele.
Dangerously recuerdo que cuando salió me gustó demasiado, hasta el punto de fastidiar a todos en mi casa 😂. Adoro como hace las vocalizaciones aquí y como construyó el ritmo de la canción. A Light switch la tengo pegada desde hace rato, y justamente por el bendito sonido del encendedor.
En fiiin, que si no se me va la noche aquí. Adoro a Charlie porque es un músico al 100, ese tipo no escucha voces escucha notas, no es broma. Me gusta como experimenta con los sonidos cotidianos para crear nuevas canciones, una vez incluso vi un vídeo sobre cómo creo una usando el sonido del rebote de una pelota de basket. Mi álbum favorito fue voice notes, pero canciones como River, I Won't Tell a Soul, How Long, Marvin Gaye, Attention; están tatuadas en mi hipotálamo.
