Antique/Vintage items found while cleaning work at village house

Namaste🙏 Dear friends, Last month i went to my village town to attend family function, while doing cleaning work at home found few antique/vintage items, i am sharing here with few photographs. Due to lots of work was pending and function was nearner i took only few images of it.


Antique/Vintage items:-

  1. Small oil Lamp
  2. Brass oil Stove
  3. Oil Lamp
  4. Oil Lantern

    We all know that due to fashion, now days we are using Lamp or Lantern at home to show unique look to our hose interior, but all are electrical based or some are solar powered. It's also called fancy lights.

    Now days we are using PNG Gas stove, where gas cylender is getting used or most of the house in city having PNG gas pipe connection. We are also using electric induction stove to make food. These all stuff replaced old oil stove and we all forgot this things.

    In shared image you can see small beautiful lamp,it was used for single person study purpose but mostly it was just used as a decorative as there was very tiny light.

    I have less rememberence that, when i was kid that time electricity was availbale in my village but electricity supply was very less, like only 2-3 hours a day and whenever rain or havy wind was came than 3 to 5 days electricity was not coming.

    That time we used this kerosene oil Lamp/Laltern for study or for lighting purpose. For coocking we were using mud stove or oil stove in which we were using kerosene oil.


No idea how many person here know about it or used these things in his childhood time.
