The End Is The Beginning Of Something New

INEC finished up the state-by-state calculation of the presidential election and declared APC the winner of the presidential election by 4 am on Wednesday. Nigerians woke up to the news but instead of jubilation the country was quiet and looked to be in mourning a huge loss, there was no sign of happiness or joy or jubilation by the people instead sadness and bitterness were in the air of the country.

The Nigerian people feel betrayed by INEC which promised there will be a free, fair, and credible election in the country but failed to stand by their word, I have never seen a day after the announcement of the presidential result the country will go into deep silent before and that just shows Nigerians rejected the result and have not accepted the APC presidential candidate as the President of the country.

The APC presidential candidate Tinubu has given a speech but Nigerians are less concerned about what he is saying and are more eager and waiting to hear what the presidential candidate of LP has to say on the result and declaration by INEC. There is a saying in Nigeria( when you are big, you are big) imagine the country waiting for Peter to say anything before they acknowledge the result of INEC just shows the people want him as the president of the country, and no one else.

Peter Obi tweeted yesterday on his official Twitter account that he intends to address Nigerians and the International community soon and Nigerians are eagerly awaiting for him to speak. Nigerians have suffered enough, the people are not blind and refused to accept broad daylight rigging of the election result.

INEC has started what they can't finish and they should be ready to accept the consequences of its actions. The days of rigging elections and people keeping quiet about it is over, a new Nigeria is possible and under the leadership of H.E. Peter Obi, it will be a reality for the people. I look forward to seeing what Peter has to say and what steps he wants to take. Thanks for stopping by, have a great day.

You have said it all.
I haven't come across one video where people jubilated that Tinubu won. We all know that if he proceeds to rule us as the president, we are in hot soup.
The man does not even have realistic goals for the country, he thinks we are still in the olden days.

Peter has finally addressed us and given a sliver of hope to hang on to. And one thing about that man is that he is a man of his word. It is left for us to be peaceful and observe.

You are so eloquent and articulate in your delivery, it's quite nice. Nice work!

I understand Nigeria are angry but that doesn't mean tinubu won't operate well for the betterment of the country. What's really killing us is out tribal sentimentalism. I wrote about it today

The results were unexpected. But what can we do?
