What an end to another amazing weekend in the English Premier League, we got comebacks, stunning goals, and total embarrassment this weekend in the EPL. The defending champions Manchester City and the underdogs in the EPL Newcastle United kicked off matchday 26 on Saturday, Manchester beat Newcastle United 2-0 at home Philip Foden and Bernardo Silva both scored one goal each, Newcastle seems to be struggling lately and has lost their place on the top four, I just hope they get their high spirit and finish in the top four and make their way into the champions league next season.

Arsenal or now I call them the comeback kings delivered an amazing performance at home against Bournemouth. The Gunners were trailing by 2-0 in the 57th minute of the match but it didn't phase them as they started their comeback in the 62nd minute, and Reiss Nelson scored a stunner which secured Gunner's victory in the late 90+7 minute. Arsenal is five points clear of Manchester City, they might just get a fairytale ending in June.

Aston Villa got away with a lucky own goal scored by Joachim Anderson from Crystal Palace, Crystals Palace was unlucky in the first half when the VAR canceled Zaha's goal, Palace got dominated throughout the match by Aston Villa, it was so bad that Crystal Palace failed to get a shot on target throughout the 90 minutes of the match. Aston Villa sits comfortably in 11th place, while Crystal Palace is in 12th place and could be in trouble if they don't win their next match this coming weekend.

Brighton brought their A-game on Saturday as they trashed West Ham United 4-0 at home, Mac Allister scored a goal and assist, Joel Veltman, Mitoma, and Danny Welbeck all got a goal each. Brighton is pushing for European football next season, and might likely get it if they keep this form up, looking forward to seeing how Brighton ends the season in June.

Chelsea finally had a positive weekend as they beat Leeds United 1-0 at home, Wesley Fofana scored the only goal for the Blues which gave them all three points on Saturday. It was a relief for Potter as he has been criticized a lot in the past weeks. I still think the fans should be patient with Potter and give him a little time as he rebuilds the team.

Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at home, Adama Traore scored the only goal of the match in the 82nd minute of the second half. Tottenham is still in the top four but I think they might bottle that position if they keep dropping points. Southampton beat Leicester City 1-0 at home, Carlos Alcaraz scored the only goal for Southampton in the 35th minute of the first half. Southampton is still in the 19th place on the table, while Leicester City remains in 15th place on the EPL table.

Nottingham Forest played a 2-2 draw at home against Everton, Brennan Johnson scored a brace for Forest while Demarai Gray and Ben Godfrey both scored a goal for Everton. Nottingham Forest are doing pretty well since their return to the EPL and they hope to remain in the league next season.

The last match of matchday 26 was between Liverpool and Manchester United. United was totally humiliated as they conceded seven goals in the match, Gakpo scored a brace, Nunez scored a brace, Mohammad Salah scored a brace and gave two assists, and Firmino also got a goal. Rashford was nowhere to be found yesterday and Salah toured with Lisandro Martinez at the defense, Liverpool are on 6th place on the table and Manchester United remains in 3rd place on the EPL table.

So guys that is all for now, thanks for stopping by, and have a great week ahead.
